Best Evidence Summary on Prevention of Enteral Nutrition Feeding Intolerance in Patients Ventilated in Prone PositionAbstract:Objective To synthesize the best evidence of prevention of enteral nutrition(EN)feeding intolerance in patients ventilated in prone position.Methods Retrieve relevant on the prevention of feeding intolerance in prone position ventilated patients from Chinese and English databases and guideline websites,conducted from database inception to June 5,2025.Two researchers independently completed literature screening,quality evaluation,and data extraction to summarize the evidence.Results A total of 12 articles were included,including 1 guideline,7 systematic reviews,2 evidence summaries,1 clinical decision,and 1 recommended practice.Finally,25 pieces of evidence topics were synthesized from six aspects:management and training,risk screening and evaluation,postural management,feeding regimen,pharmacological interventions,and non-pharmacological interventions.Conclusion The study summarize the best evidence for prevention of enteral nutrition feeding intolerance in prone ventilated patients.These findings offer a scientific foundation for clinical nursing practice and are highly recommended for implementation in clinic.
Sinicization and its Reliability and Validity Testing of Ambulance Nurses Competency ScaleAbstract:Objective To translate the Ambulance Nurses Competency(ANC)scale into Chinese and assess its validity and reliability among Chinese nurses.Methods The Chinese version of ANC was developed through cross-cultural adaptation using the Brislin translation model.A total of 212 nurses from the emergency departments of 7 secondary Grade A and above general hospitals across the country were selected by convenience sampling method to test its reliability and validity.Results The Chinese version of ANC consisted 40 items across 8 dimensions.The overall Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.949,with dimension-level coefficients ranging from 0.801 to 0.932.Split-half reliability was 0.847 overall and 0.718 to 0.931 across dimensions.The overall test-retest reliability was 0.939,and 0.728 to 0.970 across dimensions.The item-level content validity index(I-CVI)ranged from 0.800 to 1.000,and the scale-level content validity index(S-CVI/Ave)was 0.937.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 8 common factors,with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 69.86%.The factor loading values of each item on its corresponding dimension ranged from 0.686 to 0.823.Conclusion The Chinese version of ANC has good reliability and validity,and it can be used to assess the competency of emergency nurses in China.
Study on the Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hot Compress and Progressive Functional Exercise Based on Management by Objectives-Theory on Postoperative Cervicoscapular Syndrome in Thyroid Cancer PatientsAbstract:Objective To explore the application effect of a comprehensive intervention program combining Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)hot compress pack and progressive neck-shoulder functional rehabilitation based on the Management by Objectives Theory in postoperative cervicoscapular syndrome of thyroid cancer patients.Methods A total of 203 patients with thyroid cancer admitted to a tertiary Grade A hospital from January 2023 to February 2025 were enrolled and divided into a control group(n=96)and an observation group(n=107).The control group received routine functional exercises,while the observation group was given a comprehensive intervention regimen combining TCM hot compress pack based on the Management by Objectives Theory and progressive functional rehabilitation.The shoulder function,sleep quality and quality of life of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention.Results The shoulder function scores of the observation group at 1 week and 1 month after surgery were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01).The sleep quality of the observation group at 1 month after surgery was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).In terms of quality of life,the scores of the observation group in 5 dimensions,namely bodily pain,role-physical,physical functioning,vitality,and social functioning,were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The TCM hot compress pack combined with progressive functional exercise based on Management by Objectivescan Theory can effectively promote postoperative neck-shoulder functional rehabilitation in thyroid cancer patients,improving sleep quality.The scheme is positive significance in alleviating postoperative neck and shoulder syndrome.It integrates the behavioral guidance of goal management,the multidimensional advantages of external therapy of TCM and progressive rehabilitation.It is standardized in operation and has good compliance,so it is worthy of popularization and application in clinical nursing.
Actor-Partner Interdependence Model of Family Resilience and Demoralization Syndrome in Patients with Gynecological Malignancy and their SpousesAbstract:Objective To examine the relationship between family resilience and demoralization syndrome in patients with gynecological malignancies and their spouses.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 563 patients with gynecological malignant tumors and their spouses admitted to a tertiary hospital in Anhui Province.Data were collected using a General Information Questionnaire,Family Hardiness Index and Demoralization Scale-Ⅱ.Results The family resilience scores of patients with gynecological malignancies and their spouses were(58.34±5.33)and(59.19±5.22),respectively,the demoralization scores were(13.00±5.46)and(11.31±5.58),respectively.Family resilience was negatively correlated with demoralization scores(r=-0.311~-0.545,P<0.01).In terms of the actor effect,family resilience in both patients and their spouses negatively predicted their own demoralization syndrome(β1=-0.418,β2=-0.497,P<0.01).In terms of the partner effect,family resilience in both patients and their spouses negatively predicted each other's demoralization syndrome(β1=-0.128,β2=-0.179,P<0.01).Conclusion Patients and their spouses should be viewed as a dyadic coping unit due to the interactive influence between family resilience and demoralization syndrome.It is recommended to develop targeted intervention measures focused on family resilience to reduce the level of demoralization syndrome.
A Nursing Intervention Strategy for Relieving Thirst in Heart Failure Patients Based on Traditional Chinese MedicineAbstract:Objective To create a nursing intervention strategy based on Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)to reduce thirst in heart failure patients and to serve as a guide for clinical nursing practice.Methods The"6S"model was used to access literature from both domestic and foreign sources,including self-built databases up until October 31,2024.Two researchers conducted literature quality evaluation and evidence synthesis,preliminarily formulating a TCM nursing intervention protocol for thirst relief in heart failure patients.The protocol was revised using the Delphi method.Results The response rate for the questionnaires in both rounds of the Delphi survey was 100%,with expert authority coefficients of 0.905 and 0.852,respectively.Kendall's W values were 0.103 and 0.125,respectively.A TCM nursing intervention program for alleviating thirst in patients with heart failure was developed,comprising 3 primary items,11 secondary items,and 22 tertiary items.Conclusion The nursing intervention protocol for thirst relief in heart failure patients was designed,incorporating TCM concepts to simplify the entire thirst treatment process.It might offer clear implementation strategies for clinical practice and promote widespread acceptance.
Construction of the main care needs evaluation index system for the disabled populationAbstract:Objective Building an evaluation index system based on national standards for the primary care needs of the disabled is essential in the context of medical care and aged care integration.This will serve as a guide for raising care training requirements and enhancing the caliber of services.Methods A pool of care-need indicators for functionally disabled individuals was generated through literature review and field interviews.Participants were stratified according to the Longshi Activities of Daily Living Assessment Method Based on the classification and questionnaire survey results,primary care indicators were preliminarily formulated.The graded evaluation index system for primary care needs was finalized through two rounds of expert consultation using the Delphi method.Results The response rate in both rounds of expert consultation was 100%.The expert authority coefficient was 0.892.The Kendall's coefficient of concordance(W)for expert opinions on the first-and second-level indicators was 0.317 and 0.231,respectively(P<0.001).Ultimately,a primary care needs evaluation index system with six first-level indications and twelve second-level indicators was developed that could be applied to three types of impaired people,including"Bedridden Group","Domestic Group"and"Community Group".Conclusion High reliability and scientific validity were shown by the disability grading-based primary care needs evaluation index system that was created in accordance with the Longshi Scale.It was an evidence-based resource for setting training requirements and assessing the caliber of disability care services.
Influencing Factors of Moral Distress in Emergency and Critical Care Nurses:a Systematic ReviewAbstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the factors influencing moral distress among emergency and critical care nurses.Methods A comprehensive search was conducted in The Cochrane Library,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,CBM,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP for literature on factors associated with moral distress in emergency and critical care nurses.The search period was from database inception to October 31,2025.Two researchers independently screened the literature,evaluated the quality,and extracted and summarized the data.Results A total of 23 studies involving 6 278 nurses were included.Qualitative synthesis results indicated that the influencing factors of moral distress can be categorized into personal factors and organizational factors.Moral distress were positively correlated with job burnout and turnover propensity,and negatively correlated with job satisfaction.Conclusion Moral distress is prevalent among emergency and critical care nurses and is influenced by multiple factors.Nursing managers should identify nurses at risk based on these influencing factors and develop targeted interventions to mitigate the occurrence of moral distress.
Clinical Study on Stratified Nursing Intervention Strategies for Patients with Acute Hypertensive Intracerebral Hemorrhage Based on Snyder's Hope TheoryAbstract:Objective To explore the clinical study on exploring stratified nursing intervention strategies for patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage based on Snyder's Hope Theory.Methods A total of 130 patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage admitted to a tertiary Grade A hospital in Yantai from January 2023 to June 2025 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a control group(n=65)and an observation group(n=65)the random number table method.The control group received routine clinical nursing,while the observation group was given nursing intervention based on the stratified nursing intervention based on Snyder's Hope Theory.The hope level,coping style,self-care ability,blood pressure,disability degree,and activities of daily living of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention.Results After the intervention,the scores of hope level,positive coping,self-care ability,and Barthel Index in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.001),while the scores of negative coping style,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,and modified Rankin Scale were lower than those in the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion The stratified nursing intervention strategy for patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage based on Snyder's hope theory can serve as a feasible plan for the continuous"psychological-behavioral-self-management"care of such patients.Its effect can be achieved by enhancing goal orientation,pathway and motivation thinking,and promoting positive coping and rehabilitation participation,thereby bringing positive significance to the overall prognosis.
Development of Exercise Rehabilitation Review Indicators and its Obstacle Factors in Older Heart Failure PatientsAbstract:Objective To implement evidence-based exercise therapy in older heart failure patients,develop review indicators,analyze the barriers and enablers factors,and develop reform tactics.Methods Clinical concerns were identified,literature was retrieved,the evidence was evaluated and summarized,and review indicators were created based on the Joanna Briggs Institute's(JBI)theoretical model of evidence-based health care in Australia.From May to July 2024,a baseline review was carried out to identify obstacles and facilitators and develop plans for transformation.Results The study comprised 24 pieces of evidence in total,and 28 review indicators were created.Only four of them had a review implementation rate of 100%,twelve had a rate of 0%,and the remaining indicators ranged from 40%to 80%.An examination of the integrated-Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Services(i-PARIHS)framework identified 26 barriers,such as medical staff members'ignorance of exercise rehabilitation,and 26 enablers,such as the directors of the nursing and cardiovascular internal medicine departments'strong support for this evidence-based transformation initiative.Twenty-one transformation methods were also created,including systems and procedures for exercise rehabilitation.Conclusion The study produces review indicators that can be measured objectively.The best evidence for exercise rehabilitation in elderly heart failure patients differed significantly from real practice.To support the clinical transformation of evidence,clinical improvement should be implemented for both promoting and barrier aspects.
Scoping Review of Out-of-Hospital Weight Management for Patients with Chronic Heart Failure under Digital IntelligenceAbstract:Objective The study aimed to systematically review the application status of digital intelligence technology in the out-of-hospital weight management of chronic heart failure(CHF)patients,to provide references for clinical practice.Methods Based on the framework of scoping review,the study searched multiple databases,including The Cochrane Library,CINAHL,PubMed,Embase,and Web of Science,China Biomedical Literature Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database,the retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the database to December 25,2025.Conducted literature search by combining topic words and free words with Boolean logic words.Two researchers independently screened and extracted features from the included literature,analyzed and summarized intervention tools,intervention processes,intervention effects,etc.Results Finally,10 articles were included,including 5 randomized controlled trials and 5 quasi experimental studies.Inclusion of literature analysis on out-of-hospital weight management intervention tools,processes,content,and effects for patients with CHF were driven by digital intelligence.Conclusion The digital intelligence technology demonstrates significant potential in optimizing out-of-hospital weight management for CHF patients by improving compliance and management efficiency,and it is an important path to innovate CHF management models.In the future,it is necessary to deepen research and practice in core module standardization,aging design,and human-machine collaborative integration.
Construction and Application Research of a Whole-Course Management Platform on Joint Replacement PatientsAbstract:Objective To build a whole-course management platform for joint replacement patients based on"Internet+"and artificial intelligence(AI)technology,and to explore a multidisciplinary collaborative whole-course management model to improve the diagnosis and treatment efficiency,rehabilitation effect and long-term quality of life of joint replacement patients.Methods By the integration of"Internet+"and AI learning technology,a multidisciplinary collaborative team was set up,constructed a whole-course management platform for joint replacement patients.It adopted the combination of"online+offline"and"in-hospital+out-of-hospital"management modes,and the case manager intervened in the whole process,covered the whole course of patients'life from pre-hospital preparation,in-hospital diagnosis and treatment,hospital discharge preparation,bidirectional referral,remote consultation,intelligent follow-up,discharge tracking and follow up to remote health management.Results There were 118 online consultations,94 AI-powered follow-up visits,5 consultations of doctors,and 3 referral services.Personalized rehabilitation guidance achieved 100%coverage,and the implementation of the comprehensive disease management platform significantly reduced the consultation waiting time for joint replacement patients(P<0.001)with an overall patient continuity management satisfaction rate of 97.00%.Conclusion The whole-course management platform based on"Internet+"and AI technology provides efficient,accurate and personalized whole-course management services for joint replacement patients,and it significantly improves the recovery effect and quality of life of patients.Meanwhile,it optimizes the allocation of medical resources,alleviates the workload of healthcare professionals and achieves efficient utilization of medical resources.The mode provides a novel solution for the entire process of joint replacement surgery,demonstrates significant clinical value for widespread adoption value.
Influencing Factors of Illness Integration Status in Young and Middle-Aged Hospitalized Patients with Heart FailureAbstract:Objective To investigate the illness integration status among young and middle-aged hospitalized patients with heart failure and analyze its influencing factors.Methods A total of 353 young and middle-aged hospitalized heart failure patients were surveyed using the General Information Questionnaire,the Long-Term Condition Questionnaire,and the Memorial Symptom Assessment Scale-Heart Failure.Results The score of illness integration in young and middle-aged hospitalized heart failure patients was(63.56±9.98),and the score of symptom burden was(61.96±29.16).The illness integration was negatively correlated with symptom burden(r=-0.467,P<0.001).Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that age,education level,readmission within a year,NYHA classification,Prognostic Nutritional Index,and symptom burden level were influencing factors of illness integration(P<0.05).Conclusion The illness integration of young and middle-aged heart hospitalized failure patients is at a moderate level and required further improvement.Healthcare professionals should create targeted interventions based on the contributing factors to improve their illness integration.
Construction of a Prediction Model for Upper Limb PICC Catheter Placement Length in Preschool-Age Children with CancerAbstract:Objective To explore a prediction model for determining the optimal insertion length of peripherally inserted central venous catheters(PICC)in the upper limbs among preschool-age children with cancer.Methods Clinical data were collected from children underwent upper limb PICC placement in a hospital from January 2021 to January 2024.Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to identify key factors influencing optimal catheter length.A linear regression model was then constructed to predict the ideal insertion length.Results A total of 311 preschool-age children with tumours were included.Height,weight,arm circumference and catheter placement site were identified as significant factors influencing the PICC length.Based on these influencing factors,the prediction model was established as Y=5.937+0.108×height+0.366×arm circumference+0.621×placement site(R2=0.489,F=58.372,P<0.001).Conclusion The prediction model constructed based on intracavitary electrocardiographic localization in preschool-age children with tumors demonstrates good performance for predicting the optimal insertion length.Its application may help shorten procedural time,reduce catheter-related complications,and lower overall medical costs and risks.
The Interaction between Family Consistency and Family Avoidance of Communication about Cancer in Elderly Lung Cancer Postoperative Patients and Their Spouses CaregiversAbstract:Objective To analyze the interaction between family consistency and cancer avoidance communication in elderly lung cancer postoperative patients and their spouse caregivers based on the subject object dependence model.Methods In the department of thoracic surgery at provincial hospital of Shandong First medical university,325 pairs of elderly lung cancer postoperative patients and their spouses'caregivers were chosen between May 2024 and May 2025 using a sampling convenience technique.The study employed a Family Avoidance Cancer Communication Scale,a simplified version of the Family Consistency Scale,and a General Information Survey Questionnaire to examine the relationship between variables,and a subject-object interdependence model was created using AMOS software.Results Elderly lung cancer postoperative patients and their spouse caregivers scored(56.21±5.64)and(45.68±4.52)points on the family consistency scale,respectively.The Family Avoidance Cancer Communication Scale scores were(37.90±3.05)and(46.62±1.91),respectively.The findings showed that the Family Consistency Scale scores of senior patients with postoperative lung cancer and their spouse caregivers could be used to predict their own and their partner's family avoidance cancer communication scores in a negative way.Subject-object interdependence was a paired pattern,and both subject and object effects were significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The perceived avoidance of cancer communication among elderly lung cancer postoperative patients and their spouse caregivers was negatively influenced by their own and their partner's sense of family solidarity.To lessen the notion of family avoidance of cancer communication,clinical practice should emphasize the family and foster a sense of family unity among older lung cancer patients and the caregivers of their spouses from a binary perspective.
Application of Narrative Nursing in Patients with Advanced Cancer:a Scoping ReviewAbstract:Objective The paper reviewed the application of narrative nursing in patients with advanced cancer,by identifying intervention protocols and clinic outcomes,thereby providing an evidence for clinical implementation and further research.Methods Guided by the methodology of scoping reviews,a systematic search was performed across CINAHL,PubMed,Web of Science,CNKI,Wanfang Database,and VIP Chinese Journal Database relevant literature on the application of narrative nursing in patients with advanced cancer,from databases establishment to November 24,2025.The included literatures were analyzed and summarized.Results A total of 20 articles from five countries were included.Narrative nursing interventions for advanced cancer patients were primarily implemented in hospitals,outpatient clinics,homes,and hospice care settings.Intervention types included verbal narrative,written narrative,reading narrative,visual narrative,and multi-modal integrated narrative.Outcome measures covered physiological,psychological,spiritual,and other aspects.Conclusion Narrative nursing has a positive impact on the physical and mental health of advanced cancer patients.However,future high-quality,large-sample studies are still needed to establish a comprehensive narrative nursing training and assessment system,enrich the forms of narrative nursing interventions,and provide high-quality nursing care for advanced cancer patients.
The Mediating Effect of Self-Efficacy between Social Support and Kinesiophobia in Patients after Ankle Fracture SurgeryAbstract:Objective To examine the mediating effect of self-efficacy in relationship between social support and kinesiophobia in patients after ankle fracture surgery.Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 320 patients after ankle fracture surgery at a Grade A tertiary orthopedic specialized hospital in Xinjiang.Data were collected using the General Information Questionnaire,Social Support Rating Scale,General Self-Efficacy Scale,and Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia.Results The score of social support was(32.54±3.81),the score of self-efficacy was(27.96±6.23),and the score of kinesiophobia was(39.57±1.50).Kinesiophobia was negatively correlated with both social support(r=-0.452,P<0.01)and self-efficacy(r=-0.434,P<0.01),while self-efficacy was positively correlated with social support(r=0.463,P<0.01).Self-efficacy played a partial mediating effect between social support and kinesiophobia,accounting for 23.17%of the total effect.Conclusion Patients after ankle fracture surgery have kinesiophobia.Clinical medical staff should strengthen patients'social support system,enhance their self-efficacy,and thereby reduce postoperative kinesiophobia to facilitate joint function recovery.

Study on the Acceptance and Influencing Factors of Advance Care Planning among Elderly Cancer PatientsAbstract:Objective To explore the current status acceptance level of advance care planning among elderly cancer patients and identify its influencing factors.Methods A questionnaire study was conducted among a total of 294 elderly cancer inpatients from a tertiary grade A hospital in Beijing.Data were collected using General Information Questionnaire,Patient's Advance Care Planning Acceptance Questionnaire,Self-Esteem Scale and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire.Results The score of acceptance of advance care planning among elderly cancer patients was(67.70±8.18).Age,educational level,disease duration,rescue experience,self-esteem level and coping style were independent influencing factors of the acceptance of advance care planning(P<0.05).Conclusion The acceptance of advance care planning among elderly cancer patients is at an upper-middle level and affected by multiple factors.It is suggested that strategies for promoting advance care planning should be formulated in combination with the psychological characteristics of elderly cancer patients,so as to provide references for optimizing palliative care services and alleviating the medical pressure caused by aging.
Establishment of an Evaluation Index System for the Quality of Nursing in the Treatment Cycle of Cervical Cancer Patients from the Perspective of the Full-Cycle Concept of Cancer RehabilitationAbstract:Objective To construct a nursing quality evaluation indicator system for the treatment cycle of cervical cancer patients,and provide operable and quantifiable criteria for clinical nursing quality monitoring and management.Methods Based on Donabedian's"Structure-Process-Outcome"three-dimensional quality evaluation model as the theoretical framework,the study employed literature analysis,expert group interviews,expert consultation,and the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to select indicators,determine their weights,so as to establish the nursing quality evaluation indicator system for the treatment cycle of cervical cancer patients.Results The final nursing quality evaluation system for the treatment cycle of cervical cancer patients included 3 primary indicators,9 secondary indicators,and 42 tertiary indicators.Conclusion The nursing quality evaluation indicator system for the treatment cycle of cervical cancer patients is scientific,reliable,and comprehensive,with strong relevance to current needs and specific applicability to the field.It can provide a reference for developing a comprehensive health service system for the entire treatment cycle of cervical cancer rehabilitation.
Best Evidence Summary for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Technology in Patients with Diabetic Foot UlcerAbstract:Objective To integrate the best evidence of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing technologies for diabetic foot ulcers,using an evidence-based approach.Methods Guided by the"6S"pyramid evidence model,relevant literature on Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing technologies for diabetic foot ulcers was retrieved from guideline websites and databases,with the search period ranging from the database establishment to July 1st,2025.Two researchers independently conducted the evaluation of the literature quality and summarized the evidence.Results A total of 15 documents were included,including 5 clinical guidelines,3 expert consensus,and 7 systematic reviews.Based on evidence synthesis,27 best pieces of evidence were summarized from three aspects:ulcer staging,Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing technologies for the non-ulcerated stage(including acupoint application therapy,acupoint massage,acupoint injection,moxibustion,and Chinese herbal foot bath),and Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing technologies for the ulcerated stage(including external application of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese herbal soaking therapy).Conclusion The summarized evidence is scientifical and practical,and can provide clinical practice basis for the prevention and management of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing for patients with diabetic foot ulcers.When translating the evidence into practice,the users should select the best evidence based on the clinical situation and use it carefully to improve the quality of nursing and patients'satisfaction.
