Based on the Theory of"Evil Elimination and Righteousness Restoration"to Explore the Treatment of Colorectal Cancer with Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Perspective of Gut MicrobiotaAbstract:The occurrence of colorectal cancer(CRC)is closely related to the imbalance of gut microbiota. The author of this article, based on the theory of"evil Elimination and righteousness restoration",analogizes the dynamic balance between probiotics and pathogenic bacteria as the microscopic manifestation of"the struggle between evil and righteousness".Pathogenic bacteria accelerate carcinogenesis through pro-inflammatory microenvironments, while probiotics inhibit tumors through immune regulation and other mechanisms.Traditional Chinese Medicine can restore the balance of the microbiota through the synergy of multiple components.Traditional Chinese Medicine formulas can inhibit the carcinogenic pathways of the microbiota, such as reducing the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria, promoting the colonization of probiotics, and repairing the intestinal barrier. The author of this article focuses on demonstrating that Traditional Chinese Medicine and its formulas do not simply act on a single strain but follow the therapeutic principle of"supporting righteousness and eliminating evil",regulating the structure and function of the microbiota through multiple components and multiple targets, and restoring the intestinal microecological homeostasis, which to a certain extent promotes the application of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the precise intervention of CRC.
Analysis of the Mastery of Core Knowledge on Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment among Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Its Influencing FactorsAbstract:Objective Evaluation of the core knowledge mastery level of tuberculosis patients in treatment and its influencing factors. Methods A cross-sectional survey design was adopted. From January 2025 to July 2025,a questionnaire survey on the core knowledge awareness rate of tuberculosis was conducted on 184 in-patients with active tuberculosis diagnosed at the first outpatient department of a tuberculosis specialty hospital in Guangzhou. The questionnaire covered basic information, five core knowledge points of tuberculosis, health education experience, and the main channels for obtaining knowledge about tuberculosis.A total of 184 valid questionnaires were recovered. The differences in characteristics among patients with different levels of core knowledge mastery were analyzed, and a binary Logistic regression model was constructed with core knowledge mastery being the dependent variable to analyze potential influencing factors. Results Among the 184 in-patients with active tuberculosis, the overall core knowledge awareness rate was 77.61%(95%CI:0.749-0.803).The single knowledge mastery rates of the five core knowledge points were 82.07%,89.13%,41.85%,85.33%,and 89.67%respectively.Only 29.35%were all correct. The differences in the awareness rates of each item were statistically significant(P<0.01).In the univariate analysis of the awareness situation of tuberculosis core knowledge among in-patients with active tuberculosis, the core knowledge qualification rate of patients who received health education was significantly higher than that of those who did not(χ2=7.593,P=0.006).Among the different information acquisition channels,"doctor's explanation"was the main source of health education information, accounting for 46.70%.Those who obtained knowledge mainly through"doctor's explanation"had the highest core knowledge mastery qualification rate. The binary Logistic regression analysis further confirmed that receiving health education(OR=0.435,95%CI:0.183-1.034)and"doctor's explanation"as the main channel(OR=10.507,95%CI:1.833-60.233)were promoting factors for core knowledge mastery. Conclusion Under the strong and effective pulmonary tuberculosis prevention and control strategies and health promotion measures, the core knowledge level of patients under treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis has significantly improved compared to previous levels. However,it still falls short of the target of 85%awareness rate of core knowledge among the public set in the"National Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Plan(2024-2030)".It is recommended to further strengthen health education for patients under treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis, give full play to the role and professional advantages of medical staff, innovate publicity forms and concepts, empower new methods for tuberculosis health education, and continuously inject new impetus into tuberculosis prevention and control.

Construction of A Prediction Model for Natural Pregnancy Failure after Laparoscopic Surgery in Patients with Ovarian Endometriosis CystsAbstract:Objective To analyze the influencing factors of natural pregnancy failure after laparoscopic surgery in patients with ovarian endometriosis cysts and construct a prediction model. Methods A total of 246 patients with ovarian cysts admitted to Nanyang Central Hospital from April 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were followed up for one year after surgery and divided into a failure group(95 cases)and a success group based on whether they achieved natural pregnancy.Univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify the independent risk factors for natural pregnancy failure after laparoscopic surgery and construct a prediction model. Results There were statistically significant differences in age, infertility type, cyst diameter, revised American Fertility Society(r-AFS)stage,the number of uterine cavity operations, endometriosis fertility index(EFI)score, and the treatment situation with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists between the two groups(P<0.05).Logistic multivariate analysis showed that age≥35 years, primary infertility, cyst diameter 3-5 cm or>5 cm,r-AFS stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,uterine cavity operation≥2 times,EFI score≤4 points, and no postoperative use of GnRH-a treatment were independent risk factors for natural pregnancy failure after laparoscopic surgery(P<0.05).Based on the results of multivariate analysis, the prediction model for natural pregnancy failure after laparoscopic surgery was fitted as Logit(P)=-6.694+0.680×age+0.882×primary infertility+0.822×cyst diameter+0.740×r-AFS stage+0.627×uterine cavity operation+0.655×EFI score+0.836×no postoperative use of GnRH-a treatment.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis showed that the area under the curve for predicting natural pregnancy failure after laparoscopic surgery was 0.932,with a sensitivity of 0.924,and a specificity of 0.818.Conclusion Patients with age≥35 years, primary infertility, cyst diameter(3-5 cm,>5 cm),r-AFS stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,uterine cavity operation≥2 times,EFI score≤4 points, and no postoperative use of GnRH-a treatment are more likely to experience natural pregnancy failure. The prediction model established by combining these factors can identify high-risk groups for natural pregnancy failure after surgery.
Bibliometric Analysis of Research on Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infections in Children over the Past Decade and Therapeutic HotspotsAbstract:Objective To reveal the research landscape, evolution of research hotspots, and differences between Chinese and foreign studies on recurrent respiratory tract infections(RRTI)in children, thereby providing a reference for the precise positioning and improvement of related research in this field in China. Methods The data for this study were sourced from the WoS core collection, with the search period from January 1,2015 to March 1,2025.The search term"TS=(recurrent respiratory tract infection* OR RRTI)AND TS=(child* OR pediatric* OR infant*)AND TS=(treat* OR therapy OR management or intervention)"was used to extract the literature. After the initial acquisition of the literature, duplicate removal was conducted using"EndNote"software, followed by manual screening, ultimately retaining a total of 384 English research articles and reviews that met the requirements.Tools such as"CiteSpace 6.4.2R","VOSviewer 1.6.19"and"Excel 2019"were utilized to conduct a systematic analysis of the annual publication volume,country/region,institution,author,journal distribution, and characteristics of keywords and emerging words. Results The global average annual publication volume was approximately 38.4 articles. The overall research trend can be summarized into three stages:"fluctuation rise-peak-adjustment".The peak was reached in 2022(51 articles),and there was a decline after 2023 due to the reallocation of resources caused by the global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.In terms of national contributions, the United States(106 articles, with an average citation of 26.5 times per article)and China(56 articles, with an average citation of 8.3 times per article)were the main research-producing countries. However, the proportion of highly cited papers from China was only 8.9%,indicating that there is still room for improvement in research influence. At the institutional level, two typical research models emerged:one was"scale-type output",such as the University of Melbourne(10 articles, with an average citation of 19.6 times per article);the other was"quality-type breakthrough",such as the University of Oxford(only 5 articles, but with an average citation of 258 times per article).Keyword clustering analysis identified three core hotspots:immune regulation therapy, intestinal microecology, and rational use of antibiotics.Among them,"impact"had the highest burst intensity from 2020 to 2022(4.13),reflecting the extensive attention paid to the impact on clinical practice during this period. Conclusion Global research on pediatric RRTI has formed a relatively stable collaborative network, yet there are significant disparities in research quality across different regions.Although China ranks among the top in terms of publication volume in this field,it still faces a structural imbalance characterized by"emphasis on clinical observation over mechanistic exploration."To further enhance research impact, future efforts should focus more on cutting-edge directions such as"gut microbiome modulation"and"basic-clinical translation,"while promoting an overall leap in research quality through strengthened international collaboration.
Investigation on the Nutritional Status Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Patients with Endometrial Cancer after Adjuvant ChemotherapyAbstract:Objective To explore the nutritional status and influencing factors of patients with endometrial cancer after adjuvant chemotherapy. Methods A total of 104 patients with endometrial cancer who received adjuvant chemotherapy at Nanyang Central Hospital from March 2023 to March 2025 were selected as the research subjects.According to the patient-generated subjective global assessment(PG-SGA)score,they were divided into a good nutritional status group(58 cases, total score<4)and a malnutrition group(46 cases, total score≥4).The general data and nutritional indicators[serum total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),prealbumin(PAB)levels]of the two groups were compared, and Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors influencing the nutritional status of patients with endometrial cancer after adjuvant chemotherapy. Results There were statistically significant differences in age, body mass index(BMI),chemotherapy stage, whether diabetes was combined, whether there were gastrointestinal reactions, coping styles, and the proportion of taste changes between the two groups(P<0.05);the levels of serum TP,ALB,and PAB in the malnutrition group were lower than those in the good nutritional status group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that advanced chemotherapy stage, combined diabetes, and negative coping style were independent risk factors affecting the nutritional status of patients with endometrial cancer after adjuvant chemotherapy(P<0.05).Conclusion Advanced chemotherapy stage, combined diabetes, and negative coping style are independent risk factors affecting the nutritional status of patients with endometrial cancer after adjuvant chemotherapy.
