Prevention of pulmonary complications in lung cancer patients by early sequential oxygen-driven nebulization inhalationAbstract:Objective To explore the preventive effect of early sequential oxygen-driven nebulization inhalation therapy on postoperative pulmonary complications in elderly patients undergoing radical surgery for lung cancer.Methods A total of 80 elderly lung cancer patients who were admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to May 2024 were enrolled in this study and randomly assigned to different groups using a random number approach.The control group received oxygen-driven nebulization inhalation therapy from the first day after surgery,while the observation group received early sequential oxygen-driven nebulization inhalation therapy(oxygen-driven nebulization inhalation therapy was given from admission,stopped on the day of surgery,and continued on the first day after surgery).The incidence of postoperative pulmonary complications and arterial blood gas indicators were compared between the two groups.Results The time to discharge the first mouthful of sputum after surgery in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the sputum discharge volume of the observation group on the 1st,2nd,3rd,and 4th days postoperatively was significantly greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the PaCO2 and PaO2 values between the two groups at 24 h and 5 d after surgery(P>0.05).On the 3rd day postoperatively,the PaO2 of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,while the PaCO2 was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Regarding the comparison of the incidence of postoperative pulmonary complications and the length of hospital stay,both indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of early sequential oxygen-driven nebulization inhalation therapy can help strengthen airway management in elderly patients undergoing radical surgery for lung cancer,promote postoperative sputum discharge,improve lung ventilation,and reduce the occurrence of pulmonary complications.
Impact of proactive skin care combined with low-temperature oxygen atomization on radiation-induced oral mucositis in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinomaAbstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of proactive skin care combined with low-temperature oxygen atomization on radiation-induced oral mucositis in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods A total of 80 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma and radiation-induced oral mucositis admitted to our hospital from December 2023 to December 2024 were included in this study and randomly divided into observation group and control group(40 cases in each group).The control group was given routine nursing,while the observation group was given proactive skin care and low-temperature oxygen atomization intervention in addition to routine nursing.The grading of oral mucositis,pain score,quality of life score and treatment efficiency of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results After intervention,the severity of oral mucositis in the observation group was significantly milder than that in the control group,the pain score was significantly lower than that in the control group,the quality of life score was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the treatment efficiency was significantly higher than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of proactive skin care and low-temperature oxygen atomization can effectively alleviate the symptoms of radiation-induced oral mucositis in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma,reduce pain levels,and improve quality of life.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
Risk factors for recurrence in postoperative radiotherapy patients with breast cancer and their relationship with different radiotherapy dosesAbstract:Objective To investigate the risk factors for recurrence in postoperative radiotherapy patients with breast cancer and analyze the relationship between different radiotherapy doses and recurrence risk,providing a basis for individualized radiotherapy planning.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 100 patients with stage II-III breast cancer who received postoperative radiotherapy from April 2022 to April 2024.The patients were divided into a control group(conventional dose of 50 Gy)and an observation group(dose adjusted based on pathological features,with tumor bed boost to 60 Gy or supraclavicular region dose of 54 Gy).The recurrence rates were compared between the two groups,and univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analyses were performed to identify risk factors for recurrence.Results The observation group showed significantly lower recurrence rates and distant metastasis rates compared to the control group(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis identified age<40 years,tumor diameter≥5 cm,lymph node metastasis,PR negativity,clinical stage III,and unadjusted radiotherapy dose as independent risk factors(OR 2.965-6.614).Conclusion Individualized radiotherapy dose adjustment based on pathological features can reduce recurrence risk in high-risk patients,particularly through strategies of tumor bed boost and regional lymph node dose intensification.
Research on temperature control and heat recovery system of medical molecular sieve oxygen generator roomAbstract:Objective This study presents an integrated approach combining precise temperature control and heat recovery to address the heat accumulation during the operation of medical molecular sieve oxygen generators.Methods By systematically analyzing the operational principles and heat generation mechanisms of the oxygen generator,a temperature regulation system based on intelligent control algorithms was developed,and a multi-level heat recovery apparatus was innovatively constructed.Results The experimental findings demonstrated that the proposed system effectively maintained the ambient temperature of the equipment room within an optimal range of(25±10)℃.Taking two medical molecular sieve oxygen generators with an oxygen production capacity of 30 Nm3/h as a case study,the recovered thermal energy was sufficient to satisfy the heating needs of an area of at least 200 m2,achieving an energy-saving efficiency exceeding 25%.Conclusion This study provides a reference solution that is both theoretically valuable and practically significant for medical institutions to optimize energy management and promote energy conservation and emission reduction.
Clinical effect study of MIPPO technique assisted by arthroscopy in the treatment of Schatzker type Ⅲ tibial plateau fracturesAbstract:Objective To observe and explore the clinical effects of arthroscopic-assisted minimally invasive percutaneous plate internal fixation(MIPPO)technique and locking plate in the treatment of Schatzker type III tibial plateau fractures.Methods A total of 93 patients with Schatzker type III tibial plateau fractures who were admitted from January 2023 to February 2025 were selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods:the control group(supplemented with traditional locking plate treatment,n=47)and the observation group(supplemented with MIPPO technique assisted by arthroscopy,n=46).Perioperative indicators were recorded,the maximum angle of knee flexion and the maximum angle of knee extension were measured,the postoperative complications were observed,and the excellent and good prognosis rate was evaluated.Results The time of initial walking with crutches after surgery,the time of complete ground bearing after surgery,the time of fracture healing after surgery and the total hospital stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).At 6 months after surgery,the maximum angles of knee flexion and knee extension in the observation group were significantly expanded compared with those in the control group(P<0.05),and the postoperative complications were significantly reduced compared with those in the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good prognosis rate of the observation group was 91.30%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The MIPPO technique assisted by arthroscopy has an ideal therapeutic effect,which is helpful for patients with Schatzker type III tibial plateau fractures to improve knee joint mobility,reduce complications,and achieve full recovery as soon as possible.
Problems and countermeasures in the management of medical high-value consumablesAbstract:Objective To explore the existing problems in the management of medical high-value consumables,and to find effective solutions to promote the standardized management of high-value consumables.Methods By conducting research and analysis on the problems existing in the traceability management,information management,secondary warehouse management of departments,and rational use of high-value consumables,the problems in the management of high-value consumables were solved by adopting measures such as"zero inventory"management,full-process information management,development of secondary warehouse management module for departments,and strengthening of rational supervision.Results The combined application of multiple management models could save medical costs and make the use of high-value consumables in hospitals more reasonable and standardized.Conclusion It provides new ideas and solutions for the scientific management of high-value consumables in hospitals.
Influencing factors for weaning failure after mechanical ventilation in patients with COPD complicated by type Ⅱ respiratory failureAbstract:Objective To explore the risk factors for weaning failure in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated by type II respiratory failure undergoing mechanical ventilation,and to construct a risk prediction model.Methods A retrospective study of clinical data was conducted on 188 patients with COPD complicated by type II respiratory failure who received mechanical ventilation treatment(admitted from May 2022 to May 2024).The patients were divided into weaning failure group and weaning success group based on weaning outcomes.Clinical data of the two groups were compared,logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors for weaning failure,a prediction model was established,and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to evaluate its predictive efficacy.Results The weaning failure rate was 27.13%among 188 patients with COPD complicated by type II respiratory failure.Compared with the weaning success group,the weaning failure group had higher age,Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II(APACHE II)score,proportion of mechanical ventilation time≥7 d,hs-CRP/albumin(ALB),and rapid shallow breathing index(P<0.05),and a longer course of COPD(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that elevated APACHE II score(OR=1.122,95%CI=1.043-1.207),mechanical ventilation time≥7 d(OR=2.423,95%CI=1.094-5.365),elevated hs-CRP/ALB(OR=22.899,95%CI=5.575-94.054),and elevated rapid shallow breathing index(OR=1.100,95%CI=1.054-1.148)were all independent risk factors for weaning failure in patients with COPD complicated by type II respiratory failure(P<0.05).The ROC curve showed that when the threshold was set at 0.400,the maximum Youden index was 0.679,and the area under the curve for the model predicting weaning failure was 0.874(95%CI:0.807-0.941).The Hosmer-Lemeshow test(χ 2=0.904,P=0.339)showed that the predicted probability of the model was highly consistent with the actual observed values.Conclusion The weaning failure rate after mechanical ventilation in patients with COPD complicated by type II respiratory failure is relatively high.APACHE II score,mechanical ventilation time,hs-CRP/ALB,and rapid shallow breathing index are all important influencing factors.The prediction model constructed based on these factors has certain predictive value for weaning failure in patients.
Effects of head and neck positioning errors and external contour changes on radiation dose in radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinomaAbstract:Objective To explore the spatiotemporal evolution laws of head and neck positioning errors and external contour changes in intensity-modulated radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma and their cumulative impact on target and organ-at-risk(OAR)dose distribution,and to validate the clinical value of systematic error monitoring and adaptive dose compensation system.Methods A total of 42 patients with newly diagnosed poorly-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the nasopharynx admitted to The People's Hospital of Hechi from January 2022 to January 2024 were randomly divided into control group(conventional intensity-modulated radiotherapy,n=21)and observation group(error monitoring+dose compensation,n=21).The control group underwent weekly CBCT,while the observation group used carbon fiber frames,three-plane contour monitoring,and high-frequency CBCT(every 3 sessions)for dynamic error tracking,combined with non-rigid registration and Monte Carlo simulation for dose correction.Observation indicators included positioning errors(X,Y,and Z axes),rates of external contour changes(A,B,and C planes),target doses(GTV D98,CTV1 D95,and CTV2 D95),and OAR doses(brainstem/spinal cord Dmax,parotid gland Dmean,and lens Dmax).Mixed-effects models were used to analyze the correlation between error and dose offset.Results The positioning error in the abdominal and dorsal directions(Z-axis)increased significantly with the number of treatment weeks(r=0.837 9),reaching(1.88±1.15)mm by week 6.When the rate of external contour changes was greater than 7.5%,the error in the head-to-foot direction increased by 36.3%(P=0.029).The observation group improved CTV1 D95 compliance rate by 28.6%,reduced brainstem Dmax exceedance rate to 4.8%,and achieved a Gamma pass rate of 96.8%(91.3%in the control group)through adaptive compensation.Conclusion Positioning errors and external contour changes exhibit spatiotemporal heterogeneity.Systematic monitoring and dynamic dose compensation can significantly improve radiotherapy precision,advocating for clinical adoption of high-frequency CBCT and multimodal registration.
Therapeutic effect of high-flow humidified oxygen therapy on children with bronchopneumoniaAbstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of high-flow humidified oxygen therapy compared with conventional oxygen therapy on children with bronchopneumonia.Methods A total of 68 children with bronchopneumonia admitted from January 2022 to January 2025 were selected and divided into the high-flow group(34 cases)and the conventional group(34 cases)according to the oxygen therapy methods.The high-flow group was cared for with high-flow humidified oxygen therapy,while the conventional group was cared for with traditional oxygen therapy.The arterial blood gas analysis indicators,the improvement time of clinical symptoms,respiratory function parameters and the occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the PaO2[(89.42±5.31)mmHg]and SaO2[(96.82±2.14)%]in the high-flow group were both higher than those in the conventional group[PaO2(81.36±4.87)mmHg and SaO2(93.45±2.68)%].PaCO2[(38.24±3.16)mmHg]was lower than that of the conventional group[(42.37±3.54)mmHg](P<0.05).The cough relief time[(3.82±0.94)d],the disappearance time of pulmonary rales[(4.16±1.02)d],and the hospital stay[(6.74±1.38)d]in the high-flow group were all shorter than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).The improvement in respiratory distress score was more significant in the high-flow group,and the incidence of complications was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion High-flow humidified oxygen therapy can effectively improve the oxygenation status of children with bronchopneumonia,accelerate the relief of clinical symptoms,and reduce the occurrence of complications,and its clinical application value is superior to that of conventional oxygen therapy.
Therapeutic effect of non-invasive ventilator combined with hyperbaric oxygen on patients with traumatic brain injuryAbstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of non-invasive ventilator combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy in patients with traumatic brain injury.Methods A total of 38 patients with traumatic brain injury who were treated in the Department of Neurosurgery,Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2024 were included in the study.They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to different treatment plans,with 19 patients in each group.The control group received single treatment(hyperbaric oxygen therapy),while the observation group received combined treatment(non-invasive ventilator combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy).The therapeutic effects,cerebral oxygen metabolism,and cognitive function between the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group(94.74%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(68.42%)(P<0.05).The observation group showed better improvement in cerebral oxygen metabolism(CjvO2,SjvO2,and O2ER)(P<0.05).The cognitive function scores(MMSE,MoCA)of the observation group were higher(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical implementation of combination therapy(non-invasive ventilator combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy)in patients with traumatic brain injury is effective,can promote the improvement of cerebral oxygen metabolism and cognitive function,has high safety,and is worth promoting.
Application of oxygen therapy in the care of long-term bedridden patients with alternating decompression air mattressesAbstract:Objective To explore the application of local oxygen therapy in the skin care of elderly patients with renal failure who have been bedridden for a long time using alternating decompression air mattresses.Methods A total of 70 elderly patients with renal failure who were bedridden for a long time in The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from February 2023 to March 2025 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group(receiving conventional care combined with alternating decompression air mattresses)and the study group(adding local oxygen therapy on the basis of the control group),with 35 cases in each group.The incidence of pressure ulcers,the status of pressure ulcers,the incidence of adverse events,and the satisfaction of nursing were observed.Results There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of stage I,stage II,and stage III pressure ulcers between the control group and the study group(P>0.05).The incidence of pressure ulcers in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The Braden Scale scores of the study group at 1,3,and 7 d of intervention were all higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse events such as infection and skin allergy between the control group and the study group(P>0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the patients in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Local oxygen therapy combined with alternating decompression air mattresses can effectively reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers in elderly patients with renal failure who have been bedridden for a long time and improve the Braden Scale score,and the nursing satisfaction of patients and their families is relatively high.It is a safe and effective comprehensive nursing plan and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
Research on targeted oxygen supply control method based on dynamic Gaussian distributionAbstract:Due to the characteristics of high altitude,low air pressure and oxygen-deficient environment in plateau areas,strict requirements are put forward for the efficiency and adaptability of oxygen supply systems.To address the problems of uneven concentration distribution and delayed dynamic response in traditional diffused oxygen supply,this paper constructs an intelligent control model for targeted oxygen supply based on dynamic Gaussian distribution.By integrating dynamic trajectory recognition technology for personnel with a three-dimensional Gaussian concentration diffusion model,the model achieves dynamic optimization of oxygen distribution in typical scenarios at altitudes of 3 000-5 000 m.Simulation experiments show that in the Tibetan plateau environment,this system can increase oxygen utilization efficiency by more than 78%compared to traditional diffused oxygen supply methods,while ensuring that the oxygen concentration in the activity areas of personnel remains above the safety threshold.The research results focus on the oxygen-deficient environments in scenarios such as daily life and travel.They innovatively develop solutions for healthy oxygen therapy,helping to enhance human health levels and providing new paths for health maintenance.
Research on multi-system integration and operation and maintenance technologies for medical information securityAbstract:With the continuous advancement of medical informatization,the integration and security management of multiple business systems within hospitals have increasingly become crucial for ensuring the quality of medical services and information security.Currently,medical institutions are confronted with challenges such as inconsistent data standards among systems,heterogeneous interfaces,intricate operation and maintenance,and diversified security threats,which severely constrain the efficiency of information resource sharing and the level of security assurance.To address these issues,this paper takes data centers as the research subject and proposes a multi-system integration and operation and maintenance technology solution tailored for medical information security.This solution is based on a distributed microservices architecture and an enterprise service bus,and adopts data interaction mechanisms that support international standards such as HL7,FHIR,and DICOM,thereby achieving efficient data synchronization and unified management among heterogeneous systems.Additionally,a multi-layered security protection system has been established,encompassing zero-trust access control,deep packet inspection,and intelligent behavioral analysis,effectively enhancing the system's defensive capabilities.In terms of operation and maintenance,automated monitoring and intelligent alert mechanisms ensure high availability and rapid fault response.

Interpretation of national standard for medical gas pipeline systems(GB/T 44059.1-2024)Abstract:Objective To enhance the understanding of the national standard"Medical gas pipeline systems—Part 1:Pipeline systems for compressed medical gases and vacuum"GB/T 44059.1-2024(hereinafter referred to as:GB/T 44059.1)among practitioners of medical gas pipeline systems,which facilitates compliant and effective application of the standard,continuously improving the levels of research and development,design,manufacturing,installation,inspection,registration,and regulatory oversight of medical gas equipment and systems.Methods The requirements of the provisions in GB/T 44059.1 were elaborated from various aspects such as supply systems,emergency connection ports,monitoring and alarm systems,pipeline distribution systems,terminal units,testing and commissioning,and extensions and modifications,so as to analyze its purpose and significance.The standard was further understood by comparing the key differences between the provisions of GB/T 44059.1 and the withdrawn industry standard.Guidance on standard implementation was provided by introducing the background of GB/T 44059.1's development and compliance in application.Results Medical gas pipeline systems can only ensure the continuous supply of medical gases and vacuum meeting the required quality,pressure,and flow rate when they are designed,manufactured,and installed in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 44059.1.Conclusion The publication and implementation of GB/T 44059.1 will have a positive impact on the sustainable development of medical gas pipeline systems in China,providing patients with safer,more effective,stable,and intelligent medical gas equipment and systems.
Application of FMEA in preventing failures of medical gas equipment in blood purification centersAbstract:Objective To explore the application of failure mode and effects analysis(FMEA)in preventing failures of medical gas equipment in blood purification centers.Methods A total of 80 medical gas devices in use in the blood purification center of The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from March 2023 to February 2025 were selected.Among them,the traditional management mode was adopted from March 2023 to February 2024 as the traditional mode group,and the FMEA mode was adopted from March 2024 to February 2025 as the FMEA mode group.The management capabilities of equipment usage and management personnel(scoring the basic knowledge of equipment,management performance,operation guarantee capabilities and job responsibilities of 30 usage and management personnel),the comprehensive efficiency of equipment(quality index ratio,performance index ratio,and availability ratio),and the operation quality of equipment(standardized operation rate,maintenance rate,self-repair rate,and equipment failure rate)were compared.Results The scores of equipment basic knowledge,management performance,operation guarantee capabilities and job responsibilities in the FMEA mode group were all higher than those in the traditional mode group(P<0.001).The quality index ratio,performance index ratio and availability ratio of the FMEA mode group were all higher than those of the traditional mode group(P<0.001).The standardized operation rate,maintenance rate and self-repair rate of the FMEA mode group were all higher than those of the traditional mode group,while the equipment failure rate was lower than that of the traditional mode group(P<0.001).Conclusion The application of FMEA mode in medical gas equipment in blood purification centers can effectively reduce the failure rate,enhance the overall efficiency and operational quality of medical gas equipment,and improve the management capabilities of medical and nursing staff.

Research on the design and preparation of personalized finger orthosis based on reverse engineering and 3D printing technologyAbstract:In this study,reverse engineering combined with fused deposition modeling(FDM)3D printing technology was adopted to conduct personalized manufacturing of finger orthoses.High-precision finger STL data was obtained through 3D scanner and Real Viewer software.The hollow structure design of the finger orthosis model was carried out using the reverse modeling software Meshmixer.The 3D printing preparation of orthoses was completed using polylactic acid material.The"3D scanning-data processing-model optimization-3D printing-performance testing"closed-loop technical path was constructed.Experimental tests showed that the finger orthosis with a 2 mm wall thickness had a hardness of 82.3 HD in the main part,78.5 HD in the hollow area,a tensile strength of 52.29 MPa,and an elongation at break of 5.19%,which met the clinical mechanical requirements.Under a negative pressure environment of-0.085 MPa,its length contraction was(0.12±0.03)mm and width expansion was(0.08±0.02)mm,both of which were smaller than the clinical allowable errors.The electrostatic interference test showed that the static voltage of the orthosis was 0.22 kV,which was lower than the human electrostatic perception threshold.The constructed closed-loop technical path provides a feasible technical solution for the personalized customization of finger orthoses,and has important practical value for improving the clinical adaptability of orthoses.
Optimization research on enhancing the safety of medical gas systems in tertiary hospitals under intelligent systemsAbstract:Medical gases play an irreplaceable role in scenarios such as the rescue of critically ill patients and the rehabilitation treatment of chronic diseases.The stability of their supply,the compliance of purity standards,and the safety of their use directly affect the treatment outcomes and life health of patients.To further enhance the safety of medical gas systems in tertiary hospitals under intelligent systems and ensure the treatment outcomes and life health of patients,this study focuses on improving the safety of medical gas systems in tertiary hospitals under intelligent systems.By sorting out,summarizing and analyzing intelligent medical gas systems and their safety,the core role of intelligent technology in system safety management has been clarified.The prominent issues in medical gas systems in terms of process management and intelligence,design,and operation and maintenance have been systematically summarized,and corresponding measures have been proposed in a targeted manner,aiming to provide a reference for the safety management of medical gas systems in tertiary hospitals.
Importance of maintenance and service in the lifecycle management of medical gas systemsAbstract:As a life support system in medical facilities,the medical gas system requires meticulous management throughout its entire life cycle,from design,procurement,installation and commissioning,operation,maintenance,verification and testing to improvement,to ensure the safe use of gas for patients.Maintenance and service,as one of the crucial parts,play a vital role in the normal operation of the entire system after installation.This article discusses the qualification requirements for medical gas system maintenance personnel as stipulated in the American ASSE6040 standard and maintenance requirement in the latest version of NFPA99-2024,the current situation of maintenance management in Chinese medical facilities,and through case analysis,elaborates on the significance of hospital equipment management and offers suggestions for improvement.
