Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of non-invasive ventilator combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy in patients with traumatic brain injury. Methods A total of 38 patients with traumatic brain injury who were treated in the Department of Neurosurgery,Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2024 were included in the study. They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to different treatment plans, with 19 patients in each group. The control group received single treatment(hyperbaric oxygen therapy),while the observation group received combined treatment(non-invasive ventilator combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy). The therapeutic effects, cerebral oxygen metabolism, and cognitive function between the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group(94.74%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(68.42%)(P<0.05).The observation group showed better improvement in cerebral oxygen metabolism(CjvO2,SjvO2,and O2ER)(P<0.05).The cognitive function scores(MMSE,MoCA)of the observation group were higher(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical implementation of combination therapy(non-invasive ventilator combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy)in patients with traumatic brain injury is effective, can promote the improvement of cerebral oxygen metabolism and cognitive function, has high safety, and is worth promoting.
