The Mechanisms and Research Progress of NLRP3 Inflammasome in Common Esophageal DiseasesAbstract:Inflammasomes have received extensive attention in recent years,among which NLRP3 is the most representative inflammasome,which plays an important role in a variety of diseases,including esophageal diseases.The mechanism of NLRP3 inflammasome in common esophageal diseases,including esophageal cancer,esophagitis and esophageal stricture,has not been systematically sorted out,and this review summarizes the role of NLRP3 inflammasome and its mediated signaling pathway mechanism in common esophageal diseases,as well as the corresponding treatment methods,which will provide new strategies for clinical treatment.
Efficacy of Carrilizumab Combined with Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Advanced Esophageal Cancer and Its Influence on Quality of LifeAbstract:Objective To analyze the effect of carrilizumab combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced esophageal cancer and its influence on quality of life.Methods 80 cases of patients with advanced esophageal cancer who were admitted to our hospital from August 2020 to August 2023 were selected by convenient sampling method and divided into groups based on computer random number table method.The treatment regimen was chemotherapy for 40 patients in the control group and carrilizumab combined chemotherapy for 40 patients in the study group.The clinical efficacy,serum tumor markers,safety and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,in the study group,the total effective rate was 70.00%,and it was 45.00%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the study group,the serum expressions of SCC-Ag,CEA,HMGB1 and CA125 were significantly lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the study group,the incidence of adverse reactions was 35.00%and 27.50%in the control group,with no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).In the study group,the FACT-G score was(79.05±17.17)points,and that of the control group was(67.65±17.42)points,which was higher in the study group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Raylizumab combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced esophageal cancer can achieve satisfactory results and improve clinical efficacy.Meanwhile,the expression of serum tumor markers was down-regulated.Promote the quality of life of patients to further improve,and safe and reliable.
Effect of Lansoprazole Combined with Trimebutin Maleate on Clinical Symptoms and Upper Gastrointestinal Motility in Elderly Patients with Reflux EsophagitisAbstract:Objective To investigate the effect of lansoprazole combined with trimebutin maleate in elderly patients with reflux esophagitis.Methods 90 elderly RE patients admitted to Shencheng Hospital of Xinyang City from January 2023 to October 2023 were enrolled and divided into 2 groups by randomly.The control group consisted of 45 patients who were treated with PPI alone,taking lansoprazole orally 30 minutes before meals,once a day,30 mg each time.The observation group consisted of 45 patients who were treated with additional prokinetic drugs on top of the control group,taking trimebutine maleate orally three times a day,100 mg each time before meals,for 8 weeks.Clinical effective rate,symptom improvement,upper gastrointestinal motility improvement and adverse reactions were observed in 2 groups.Results The observation group demonstrated a significantly higher overall response rate compared to the control group(P<0.05);the time to resolution of all clinical symptoms in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Compared to baseline(pre-treatment)values within each group,both groups exhibited significant increases in upper esophageal sphincter resting pressure,lower esophageal sphincter resting pressure,and serum motilin levels after treatment.The magnitude of these increases was greater in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination therapy of prokinetic drugs and PPI is more effective in treating elderly patients with RE than using PPI alone.The patient′s symptoms improve faster,which is more conducive to improving upper gastrointestinal motility and does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.
Use of Epidermal Metaplasia and Immunohistochemistry in the Diagnosis of Esophageal Squamous Cell NeoplasmAbstract:Objective To observe preliminarily the role of esophageal epithelial metaplasia(EEM)and immunohistochemistry in the diagnosis of esophageal squamous cell neoplasm(ESN).Methods 168 esophageal squamous cell neoplasm specimens archived in the pathology database of Anyang Tumor Hospital Pathology Department from March 2023 to February 2024 were selected.The expression of EEM and proteins were observed and analyzed through histological observation and immunohistochemical detection.Results The incidence of EEM in ESN was 17.26%,with blue stained cytoplasmic granules visible on the surface of the esophagus in 82.46%of patients,87.12%of patients who underwent immunohistochemical staining showed P53 protein mutation patterns,and 78.03%of patients showed abnormal Ki-67 expression patterns.Conclusion Joint observation of EEM and immunohistochemical expression can help improve the diagnosis of early ESN with morphological dysplasia.
Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Primary Small Cell Carcinoma of the EsophagusAbstract:Primary small cell carcinoma of the esophagus(PSCCE)is a high-grade neuroendocrine tumor originated from the esophagus,and its incidence accounts for 0.4%~3.1%of esophageal cancers.Due to its extremely low incidence,there is currently no standardized diagnosis and treatment modality for PSCCE.With the increasing number of studies and case reports on PSCCE,this review will focus on summarizing the clinical features and diagnostic and therapeutic studies of PSCCE,which will help to better solve the clinical problems.
The Pathological Regression Pattern of Residual Tumor in Radical Specimens of Patients with Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma after Preoperative Chemotherapy Combined with ImmunotherapyAbstract:Objective To explore the pathological regression pattern of residual tumor in radical specimens of patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma after preoperative chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the specimens of 411 patients who underwent radical resection of esophageal cancer after 2-4 cycles of chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy.The specimens were classified and analyzed according to the regression direction of the residual tumor in the esophageal wall.Results Among the 411cases,70 cases(17.03%)were regressed into the lumen,14 cases(3.41%)were regressed into the fibrous membrane,7 cases(1.70%)were concentric regressed,199 cases(48.42%)were random regressed,and 120 cases(29.20%)were completely regressed.One case was not yet classified.Conclusion Random regression was the most common direction of residual tumor regression,followed by complete regression,concentric regressed was the least.The cases of complete regression provide new data support for the esophageal preservation treatment strategy for patients with esophageal cancer.
Automatic Segmentation of Clinical Target Volume for Esophageal Cancer Based on VUMix-Net Convolutional Neural NetworkAbstract:Objective To propose a novel network architecture,VUMix-Net,which combines three-di-mensional(3D)V-Net and two-dimensional(2D)U-Net,for automatically delineating the clinical target volume(CTV)of esophageal cancer,and evaluate its segmentation performance and application value.Methods CT image data from 55 patients with upper esophageal cancer were collected,their CTVs were u-niformly delineated by a physician with 10 years of clinical experience in radiotherapy.3D V-Net and VUMix-Net were used to segment the CTVs simultaneously.The Dice similarity coefficient(DSC)and the 95th percentile Hausdorff distance(HD)are used as quantitative indicators to evaluate the automatic segm-entation performance of these two models.CT image data of 10 esophageal cancer radiotherapy patients who had undergone manual delineation were selected randomly,and the VUMix Net network model were applied to generate corresponding automatic delinea-tion results.These results were then clinically evalu-ated by 2 chief physicians under blinded conditions.The differences in scores between the artificial intel-ligence(AI)group and the ground truth(GT)group were compared,and the consistency of the evaluations from two physicians were analyzed.Results In the automatic delineation of CTV,the 3D-DSC and 95HD values of VUMix Net were significantly better than those of V-Net,and the differences were statistically sig-nificant,with P values of 0.006 and less than 0.001,respectively.The evaluation results of the two physi-cians showed that the CTV delineated by the VUMix Net model conforms to the clinical application situation.The differences between the AI and GT groups were not statistically significant for either physician A or physi-cian B,with P values of 0.222 and 0.361,respectively.And there was no significant difference between physi-cian A and physician B for either the AI or GT groups,with P values of 0.638 and 0.761,respectively.Conclusion The new mode(VUMix-Net)convolutional neural network showed certain advantages in auto-matic CTV delineating,and could automatically delineate CTV of esophageal cancer that met the clinical re-quirements and was comparable to the quality of manual delineating.
Mediastinal Lymph Node Metastasis and Immune-related Adverse Reactions after Cyberknife Surgery for Advanced Esophageal Cancer:A Case Report and Literature ReviewAbstract:Esophageal cancer is a highly prevalent malignant tumor in China,characterized by limited lymph node dissection and occult micrometastasis,which often result in post-surgical recurrence and metastasis.This article presents the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with genitourinary symptoms following Cyberknife treatment and long-term immunotherapy for advanced esophageal cancer with mediastinal lymph node metastasis.The patient had previously undergone TOMO and IMRT for mediastinal lymph-node metastases.After evaluating the recurrence and progressive enlargement of the lymph nodes,re-treatment was performed using Cyberknife radiotherapy.Subsequently,long-term immunotherapy led to a significant increase in white blood cells on urine routine analysis,while urine culture and cytology were negative.Immune adverse reactions in the urinary system are rarely reported,lacking clear diagnostic criteria.Following multidisciplinary consultation(MDT)and literature review,immune cystitis was diagnosed in this patient.This article reviews cases of mediastinal lymph node metastasis in esophageal cancer to elucidate its clinical characteristics,particularly highlighting the safe and effective role of Cyberknife as a treatment modality for esophageal cancer with mediastinal lymph node metastasis.Additionally,it provides valuable insi-ghts into early diagnosis and management of immune cystitis.
Application of Tislelizumab Combined with Chemotherapy in Neoadjuvant Therapy for Surgical Resection of Esophageal CancerAbstract:Objective To investigate the application value of tislelizumab plus chemotherapy in neoadjuvant therapy of operable esophageal cancer.Methods 70 patients with esophageal cancer in Luoyan Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University from September 2021 to September 2024 were selected and divided into observation group and control group,with 35 cases in each group,randomly.All patients received surgical treatment.The control group was treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy before the operation,while the observation group was treated with tislelizumab in combination on this basis.Clinical efficacy,tumor markers,immune function,quality of life and occurrence of adverse reactions were evaluated between the two groups.Results After treatment,objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR)in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05);tumor markers CEA,CA199 and CA724 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the immune function indicators of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05);the scores of FACT-G in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the occurrence of adverse reaction between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of tislelizumab plus chemotherapy in the neoadjuvant therapy of operable esophageal cancer has significant effects with good quality and safety.which can improve the DCR and ORR of patients,reduce the level of tumor markers,improve the immune function of the body enhance the quality of life of patients with good safety.
The Molecular Characteristics of Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma by Single-Cell Sequencing AnalysisAbstract:Objective To establish a prognostic prediction model for Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)ESCC patients using characteristics of cancer-associated fibroblast(CAF)CAF obtained from single-cell sequencing analysis.Methods Single-cell sequencing data for ESCC,including 70 tumor and 8 normal tissue samples,were obtained from the datasets GSE160269,GSE196756,and GSE188900.We utilized the Findallmarkers function to identify all CAF's subpopulations for studying their roles in ESCC.Subsequently,the coxph function from the survival R package was employed to construct a proportional hazards model(Cox model).A prognostic model was then developed using this approach to predict patient survival rates.Results CAF exhibited a significant change in their proportions within ESCC tumor samples compared to normal samples.They were categorized into seven subgroups,each with distinct biological functions.We constructed a prognostic prediction model using the risk factors that are derived from CAF.This model can distinguish high-risk individuals from low-risk individuals.Conclusion This study unveils the molecular characteristics of CAF in ESCC and constructs a prognostic model with good predictive performance through the analysis of their characteristic genes.
Evaluation of Dietary Quality Among Cancer Patients by Diet Balance IndexAbstract:Objective To evaluate the dietary quality of cancer patients in oncology department of Zhengzhou traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)Hospital,so as to provide the basis for future health education and nutrition intervention programs.Methods A random sampling method was used to select 52 adult patients admitted for the first time to oncology department of Zhengzhou TCM Hospital,"24-hour dietary review for 3 consecutive days"was adopted to collect dietary intake,and the diet balance index(DBI_22)scoring method was applied to evaluate the dietary quality.Results This study analyzed the dietary quality of 52 patients.Among them,30 cases were patients with common digestive system tumors in China,including esophageal cancer.More than 50%cancer patients had inadequate intakes of cereal,fruit,vegetable,dairy,soybean,fish and shrimp and diet variety.The mean high bound score was 2.75,with 94.23%of them having good or acceptable dietary intake.The mean low bound score was 33.88,and 55.77%of patients have moderate to severe of insufficient intake.The diet quality distance was 36.63,and 42.31%of patients have moderate to severe dietary imbalance.Three dietary patterns,namely A,B and C,were identified,with pattern B being the most dominant.Patterns D,E,F,G,H and I were not observed.Conclusion The dietary of the cancer patients surveyed indicates the existence of dietary imbalances,mainly manifesting as inadequate intake.It is recommended to strengthen nutritional health guidance and targeted nutritional intervention measures.
Prognostic Significance of PFKFB3 in Esophageal Cancer and Its Influence on Macrophage PolarizationAbstract:Objective To investigate the expression and prognostic effects of PFKFB3 in Esophageal Cancer(EC)and the relationship between PFKFB3 and tumor-related immune cellswithin the tumor microenvironment.Methods Multiple canceromics databases were used to analyze the expression of PFKFB3 in EC and the impact of PFKFB3 on the prognosis of EC patients was evaluated.The correlation between PFKFB3 expression and various immune cells was explored with immune infiltration analysis.The effect of PFKFB3 knockdown in EC cells on macrophage polarization was studied through in vitro experiments.Results This study found that PFKFB3 is highly expressed in EC,and patients with high PFKFB3 expression have poor prognosis.Moreover,the expression level of PFKFB3 is closely related to the extent of M2 macrophage infiltration.Importantly,the conditioned medium from EC cells with silenced PFKFB3 reduced the induced differentiation of M0 macrophages into M2 macrophages.Conclusion PFKFB3 is a key metabolic gene of EC,influences the differentiation of M2 macrophages in the tumor immune microenvironment,which could serve as a potential therapeutic target for EC.
Progress of CD133 in the Maintenance of Tumor Stemness in Esophageal Squamous CarcinomaAbstract:CD133,a well-established cancer stem cell marker,has been implicated in the initiation,progression,and metastasis of various malignancies.However,its specific role and underlying mechanisms in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma remain insufficiently understood.This review systematically explores the association between CD133 expression and the pathogenesis,progression,and poor prognosis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.We further highlight recent advances in understanding how CD133 mediates its oncogenic functions through mechanisms such as glycosylation modification,demethylation,and the regulation of key downstream effectors.By elucidating these pathways,we aim to provide new insights into the potential of CD133 as a therapeutic target in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,offering a foundation for the development of more effective,targeted treatment strategies.
Effect of Different Doses of Remimazolam Combined with Propofol to Maintain General Anaesthesia on the Quality of Recovery in Patients Undergoing Radical Resection for Esophageal CancerAbstract:Objective To explore the effect of different doses of remimazolam combined with propofol to maintain general anaesthesia on the recovery time and incidence of adverse reactions in patients undergoing radical resection for esophageal cancer.Methods One hundred and twenty ASA Ⅰ~Ⅱ patients who underwent elective radical resection of esophageal cancer in Xuchang People's Hospital from November 2022 to December 2024 were selected and divided randomly into group A,group B and group C,with 40 patients in each group.The induction regimens were the same in the three groups.During anesthesia maintenance,group A was given 0.1 mg·kg-1 remimazolam,group B was given 0.2 mg·kg-1 remimazolam,and group C was given 0.3 mg·kg-1 remimazolam.The recovery time,extubation time,propofol dosage,and remifentanil dosage were observed in all three groups.Pain scores were recorded at 2 hours and 6 hours post operatively.Heart rate and mean arterial pressure were monitored before induction(T0),during intubation(T1),at skin incision(T2),at skin suture(T3),and 30 minutes after extubation(T4).The Riker Sedation-Agitation Scale(SAS)scores were evaluated at 2,6,12,and 24 hours postoperatively,and the incidence of adverse reactions was recorded at 48 hours postoperatively.Results The dosage of propofol in Group B and Group C was less than that in Group A,and the recovery time was longer than that in Group A(P<0.05).The dosage of propofol in Group C was less than that in Group B,but the recovery time was longer than that in Group B(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the dosage of remimazolam and pain scores at 2 hours and 6 hours postoperatively among the three groups(P>0.05).There were also no significant differences in heart rate and mean arterial pressure from T0 to T4 among the three groups(P>0.05).The SAS scores at 2 hours and 6 hours postoperatively in Group B,and at 2 hours,6 hours,12 hours,and 24 hours postoperatively in Group C were lower than those in Group A(P<0.05),and the SAS scores at 12 hours and 24 hours postoperatively in Group C were lower than those in Group B(P<0.05).The incidence of respiratory depression in Group C was higher than that in Group A and Group B(P<0.05).Conclusions The use of 0.2 mg·kg-1 remimazolam combined with propofol to maintain general anaesthesia during radical resection of esophageal cancer results in more stable hemodynamics,shorter recovery time,and a lower incidence of adverse reactions.
Study on Detoxification and Synergistic Effects of Liqi Huayu Decoction combined with Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Advanced Esophageal Cancer with Phlegm-Qi Obstruction TypeAbstract:Objective To explore the detoxification and synergistic effects of Liqi Huayu Decoction combined with chemotherapy in patients with advanced esophageal cancer(EC)of phlegm qi obstruction type.Methods 90 patients with advanced EC were included,all of them received treatment in our hospital from May 2022 to May 2024.They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method.The control group of 45 cases received paclitaxel+cisplatin chemotherapy regimen,while the observation group of 45 cases received additional treatment with Liqi Huayu Tang.One chemotherapy cycle was 3 weeks,and both groups were treated continuously for 2 chemotherapy cycles.Compare the clinical efficacy,serum tumor markers,immune function,TCM syndrome score,physical condition,and adverse reactions between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group(91.11%)was higher than that of the control group(73.33%).After treatment,the levels of squamous cell carcinoma associated antigen(SCC),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),and Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome score were lower than those of the control group.The levels of immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin A(IgA),and Karnofsky's syndrome score were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group(11.10%)were lower than those in the control group(33.34%)(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Liqi Huayu Decoction and chemotherapy has a good detoxifying and enhancing effect on the treatment of phlegm qi obstruction type EC in the middle and late stages.It can effectively improve clinical symptoms,reduce SCC and CEA levels,alleviate chemotherapy induced immune suppression,and improve physical condition.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
Advances in Research Based on the Relationship between Oral Microbiota and Esophageal CancerAbstract:Esophageal cancer,as one of the most common malignant tumors,has a high incidence and a very poor prognosis.Studies have shown that diet,lifestyle,host genetics and immune regulation all influence the development of esophageal cancer.However,the pathogenesis of esophageal cancer remains unclear.There is a high correlation between changes in the oral microbiota and esophageal cancer.In this paper,we present a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between the oral microbiota and oesophageal cancer.It aims to discover the potential connection between the two and provide new ideas and theoretical basis for early screening,diagnosis and treatment of oesophageal cancer.
Effect of Different Timing of Enteral Nutrition Support Combined with Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Training on Prognosis of Elderly Patients with Postoperative Fatigue Syndrome of Esophageal CancerAbstract:Objective To investigate the effect of enteral nutrition support combined with cardiopulmonary rehabilitation training on the prognosis of elderly patients with postoperative fatigue syndrome of esophageal carcinoma.Methods Eighty elderly patients with postoperative fatigue syndrome of esophageal cancer in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were randomly divided into a control group(40 cases)and an ultra-early group(40 cases).Both groups received cardiopulmonary rehabilitation training within 24~48 hours after operation,and the ultra-early group received enteral nutrition support within 12 hours after operation,while the control group received enteral nutrition support within 12~24 hour after operation.The scores of fatigue visual analogue scale on the day of operation,3 days and 7 days after operation,as well as cardiopulmonary function(HR,FEV1/FVC,FVC,MVV),nutritional indicators(ALB,TP,TRF,Hb)and complications at discharge were compared between the two groups Results The fatigue scores of the ultra-early group at 3 days and 7 days after operation were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).HR of the ultra early group was lower than that of the control group,and FEV1/FVC,FVC and MVV were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).At discharge,the ALB,TP,TRF and Hb in the ultra early group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the ultra early group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Enteral nutritional support combined with cardiopulmonary rehabilitation training at different times can improve the fatigue state,cardiopulmonary function and nutritional level of elderly patients with esophageal cancer after operation,especially when enteral nutrition support within 12 hours after surgery.
Construction of Spontaneous Tumorigenesis Mouse Model of Esophageal Cancer based on Trp53 Knockout and Ccnd1 Overexpression in Esophageal EpitheliumAbstract:Objective To construct a mouse esophageal cancer model with Trp53 gene knockout and Ccnd1 overexpression using the Cre-loxP system and CRISPR/Cas9 technology.Methods We targeted the 2nd to 9th exons of the Trp53 gene in C57BL/6 mice,designed RNA target sites,and obtained sgRNA through in vitro transcription.The sgRNA was mixed with mRNA encoding Cas9 and microinjected into fertilized eggs to produce F0 generation mice,which were then bred to obtain Trp53flox/flox mice.Meanwhile,based on the Cre-loxP system,we designed a conditional overexpression mouse model of the Ccnd1 gene(Ccnd1R26-LSL-mcherry)at a safe locus in C57BL/6 mice.We mated Trp53fl/fl mice,Ccnd1R26-LSL-mcherry mice,and EDL2-Cre mice to produce offspring.We collected tail tissues from the mice,extracted DNA,and used PCR and agarose gel electrophoresis to genotype the offspring and verify the expression of the genes in the mice.We successfully obtained the target mice,namely esophageal epithelial Trp53 knockout and Ccnd1 overexpressing mice(EDL2-Cre;Trp53fl/fl;Ccnd1R26-LSL-mcherry mice,hereinafter referred to as CP mice).We extracted proteins from the esophageal tissues of CP mice and used Western blot to detect the expression levels of Trp53 and Ccnd1 proteins.We also recorded the body weight of CP mice and compared it with that of wild-type mice.Additionally,we collected mice at different growth stages and performed hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining to observe the morphological structure of the esophageal tissues.Results Based on the DNA extracted from the tail of the mouse,the genotype of the mouse could be identified using PCR,and CP mice had been successfully bred.The mouse could grow normally and had no significant difference in weight compared to wild-type mice(P>0.05).The mouse had good growth status and normal diet and drinking water.According to the statistical results of HE staining of esophageal slices after euthanasia of mice,the incidence of esophageal cancer could reach 28%at 12 months of age,which could be used for later research.Conclusion The successfully constructed CP mice exhibit esophageal epithelial-specific carcinogenesis during normal growth.This model provides an in vivo platform for exploring the pathophysiological mechanisms of esophageal cancer and the impact of the immune microenvironment on tumor development.
Analysis of Tumor Cognitive Needs and Influencing Factors in People at High Risk of Upper Gastrointestinal Early CancerAbstract:Objective To understand the current status of the cognitive needs of upper gastrointestinal early cancer high-risk groups,analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide reference for intervention measures in high-risk groups,and improve the screening rate of early cancer.Methods From October to December 2023,convenience sampling was used to select a high-risk population of early upper gastrointestinal cancer who met the criteria in the community around a Class A tertiary hospital in Luoyang as the research object.The survey was conducted through the Questionnaire of Cancer Cognition and Demand of residents to understand the current situation of cancer cognitive demand of high-risk population of early upper gastrointestinal cancer,and the influencing factors were explored through single factor analysis and multiple stepwise regression.Results A total of 188 patients with high risk of early upper gastrointestinal cancer were included in the study.In terms of tumor-related knowledge,the average mastery degree of early detection knowledge was 81.38%,the average mastery degree of cancer prevention knowledge was 67.91%,and the average mastery degree of cancer behavior risk factors knowledge was 56.28%.95.75%of the residents thought that the prevention and treatment of cancer was related to the common people.89.89%of the residents knew that the early detection of cancer could reduce the mortality rate.89.36%of the residents thought that it was necessary to have regular physical examination and disseminate the knowledge of cancer prevention.84.57%of the residents hoped to get the help of the early detection of cancer.In terms of the demand for early detection of tumors,40.96%of the residents had never obtained the knowledge of early detection through any way,while the residents who knew the knowledge mainly obtained the information through the Internet(28.72%)and listening to others(25.00%).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that family income per capita was the influencing factor of cancer-related knowledge(P<0.05).Conclusion The high-risk population of upper gastrointestinal early cancer has a medium to low level of cancer prevention and behavior related knowledge,and they have a positive attitude towards early detection of cancer,and have a high demand for knowledge of early detection.People with lower income have a poor grasp of cancer-related knowledge;therefore,it is necessary to strengthen health education for this group of people,enhance their attention to early detection of tumors,and improve their mastery of tumor related knowledge.
Diagnostic Value of Multi-slice Spiral CT in Patients with Esophageal Cancer at T and N Stages and the Prediction of Recurrence RiskAbstract:Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT in patients with esophageal cancer at T and N stages and to predict the risk of recurrence.Methods 120 patients with esophageal cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected.Preoperative multi-slice spiral CT scan is conducted,and the results of surgical pathology examination are regarded as the gold standard.The value of preoperative diagnosis of T and N staging by multi-slice spiral CT examination is analyzed,and postoperative recurrence factors are explored.The value of predicting recurrence risk by multi-slice spiral CT examination is analyzed.Results Taking the results of surgical pathological examination as the gold standard for diagnosis,the accuracies of multi-slice spiral CT scanning in diagnosing T staging and N staging were 91.67%,93.33%,respectively.The results of logistic regression analysis showed that independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence included N stage,GTV-V and GTV-D(P<0.05).Conclusion Multi-slice spiral CT has high accuracy in preoperative diagnosis of T stage and N stage in patients with esophageal cancer and can accurately predict the risk of recurrence through it.
