Abstract:Esophageal cancer,as one of the most common malignant tumors, has a high incidence and a very poor prognosis.Studies have shown that diet, lifestyle, host genetics and immune regulation all influence the development of esophageal cancer. However, the pathogenesis of esophageal cancer remains unclear. There is a high correlation between changes in the oral microbiota and esophageal cancer. In this paper,we present a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between the oral microbiota and oesophageal cancer. It aims to discover the potential connection between the two and provide new ideas and theoretical basis for early screening, diagnosis and treatment of oesophageal cancer.
