Diagnostic Value of Multi-slice Spiral CT in Patients with Esophageal Cancer at T and N Stages and the Prediction of Recurrence Risk

Abstract：Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT in patients with esophageal cancer at T and N stages and to predict the risk of recurrence.Methods 120 patients with esophageal cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected.Preoperative multi-slice spiral CT scan is conducted,and the results of surgical pathology examination are regarded as the gold standard.The value of preoperative diagnosis of T and N staging by multi-slice spiral CT examination is analyzed,and postoperative recurrence factors are explored.The value of predicting recurrence risk by multi-slice spiral CT examination is analyzed.Results Taking the results of surgical pathological examination as the gold standard for diagnosis,the accuracies of multi-slice spiral CT scanning in diagnosing T staging and N staging were 91.67％,93.33％,respectively.The results of logistic regression analysis showed that independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence included N stage,GTV-V and GTV-D(P＜0.05).Conclusion Multi-slice spiral CT has high accuracy in preoperative diagnosis of T stage and N stage in patients with esophageal cancer and can accurately predict the risk of recurrence through it.
