A qualitative study on intergenerational programs among elderly people with mild cognitive impairment conducted by young parentsAbstract:Objective:To explore the true thoughts of young Chinese parents on the application of intergenerational programs in the elderly population with mild cognitive impairment,and to provide reference for health education strategies and clinical practices.Methods:Using purposive sampling method,a total of 22 parents of children aged 0-14 who received treatment in the pediatric ward of a tertiary grade A hospital in Jiangsu province from November to December 2024 were selected.Based on the theory of knowledge,attitude,and practice theoretical model,data were collected through semi-structured interviews.Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used to analyze.Results:A total of 4 themes and 10 sub-themes were extracted:understanding and attitude towards mild cognitive impairment in the elderly(mainly based on life experience,diverse but insufficient professional channels of understanding,attitude and ideas for improving cognitive impairment),understanding and attitude towards intergenerational programs(vague concept,high support rate and core motivation,implementation concerns),current situation of interaction between family and society(limitations of family interaction,diverse forms of community activities),community and institutional demands(resource support,institutional innovation).Conclusions:Promoting intergenerational programs requires strengthening the popularization of professional knowledge,constructing practical models for families and communities,and promoting institutional optimization and innovation.

Sinicization of the Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale and its reliability and validity testAbstract:Objective:To translate the Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale(E-PID)into Chinese based on network analysis,and to test its reliability and validity.Methods:Based on the Brislin translation model,the Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale was translated,culturally adapted and pre-investigated to form the Chinese version of the Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale.From July to December 2024,1 463 patients with cardiovascular diseases from a tertiary grade A hospital were selected as the study subjects.The reliability and validity were tested.Results:The Chinese version of Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale included 2 dimensions and 7 items.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 2 common factors.The cumulative contribution rate of variance was 67.99%.The item-level content validity index(I-CVI)ranged from 0.83 to 1.00.The average scale-level content validity index(S-CVI/Ave)was 0.97.The score of preference for intuition dimension showed a positive correlation with the total score of the Intuitive Eating Scale-2(P<0.001).The score of preference for deliberation dimension showed a positive correlation with the total score of the Brief Self-Control Scale(P<0.001).The Cronbach's alpha(McDonald's omega)coefficients for the Chinese version of Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale and each dimension were 0.71(0.81),0.83(0.87),and 0.75(0.73),respectively.The test-retest reliability for the Chinese version of Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale and each dimension were 0.94,0.90,0.94.EGA Bootstrap analysis showed that the dimensional structure of the scale was completely stable.The consistency indexes of the network structure were all 1.00.Confirmatory factor analysis results showed a good model fit.Conclusions:The Chinese version of the Preference for Intuition and Deliberation in Eating Decision-making Scale has a stable network structure,streamlined items,good reliability and validity,and could be used to evaluate the dietary decision-making preferences among cardiovascular disease patients in China.

Construction of an evaluation index system for digital resilience in nursing undergraduatesAbstract:Objective:To construct a scientific and standardized evaluation index system for digital resilience in nursing undergraduates.Methods:Utilizing the conceptual model of digital resilience as a theoretical foundation,the initial framework for the index system was developed through literature review and semi-structured interviews.Delphi method and the analytic hierarchy process were employed to finalize the evaluation index system for digital resilience among nursing undergraduates.Results:Two rounds of expert inquiry were conducted,with effective questionnaire response rates of 100%and 95%,expert opinion submission rates of 42.11%and 33.33%,expert authority coefficients of 0.875 and 0.900,coefficients of variation of 0.060-0.225 and 0.000-0.155,and Kendall's harmony coefficients of 0.171 and 0.248,respectively(all P<0.001).The final evaluation index system included 5 primary indicators(perceived digital risks,cognitive coping strategies,learning knowledge and skills,overcoming digital pressure,and adapting to the digital environment),20 secondary indicators,and 46 tertiary indicators.Conclusions:The evaluation index system for digital resilience in nursing undergraduates is scientific,practical,and highly operable,which could provide reference for evaluating the performance and adaptability of nursing undergraduate students in digital learning environments.
Application of BOPPPS teaching model based on artificial intelligence combined with scenario simulation teaching method in clinical practice of joint surgery intern nursing studentsAbstract:Objective:To explore the application of BOPPPS teaching model based on artificial intelligence combined with scenario simulation teaching method in clinical practice of joint surgery intern nursing students.Methods:A total of 94 intern nursing students who rotated in joint surgery in two tertiary grade A hospitals from March 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into control group and test group by random number table method,47 students each.The control group was taught by using traditional mentoring program.The test group was taught by using BOPPPS teaching model based on ChatGPT and Doubao combined with situational simulation teaching method.The theoretical knowledge and practical operation ability,critical thinking,communication ability,self-learning ability,and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of intern nursing students were compared.Results:The scores of practical operation ability,critical thinking,communication ability,self-learning ability,and teaching satisfaction of the intern nursing students in the test group were all higher than those in the control group.There were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:The application of BOPPPS teaching model based on artificial intelligence combined with scenario simulation teaching method in clinical teaching of joint surgery intern nursing students could effectively improve their practical ability,communication ability,and self-learning ability,promote the formation of critical thinking,and enhance their satisfaction with clinical teaching.
Application status quo on patient versions of guidelines in health educationAbstract:This study systematically reviewed the practice of patient versions of guidelines(PVGs)in health education both domestically and internationally,analyzed the application status quo and core challenges of PVGs in health education,and to propose feasible optimization strategies based on international practice and localization experience,in order to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the high-quality development of PVGs and the construction of the health education system in China.
Development of the metacognitive ability scale for operating room nurses and its reliability and validity testAbstract:Objective:To develop a scale for the metacognitive ability of operating room nurses and test its reliability and validity,so as to provide an effective tool for the assessment of the metacognitive abilities of operating room nurses.Methods:Based on metacognitive theory,a metacognitive ability scale for operating room nurses was developed through literature review,qualitative interviews,expert inquiries,and pre surveys.From October to November 2024,a convenience sampling method was used to select 618 operating room nurses from Shanghai city and Sichuan province as the research subjects.The Metacognitive Ability Scale for Operating Room Nurses was used for investigation to test its reliability and validity.Results:The Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.948.The split-half reliability was 0.868.The test-retest reliability was 0.952.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 3 common factors,with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 60.075%.Confirmatory factor analysis results showed a good model fit.The scale-level content validity index/average was 0.953.The item-level content validity index ranged from 0.870 to 1.000.Conclusions:The Metacognitive Ability Scale for Operating Room Nurses has good reliability and validity,and could be used to measure the metacognitive ability level of operating room nurses.
Conceptual analysis of food literacy in diabetic patientsAbstract:Objective:To analyze the definition and connotation of food literacy in diabetic patients and to provide reference for the dietary management of diabetic patients.Methods:Relevant literature from databases such as CNKI,WanFang Database,VIP,CBM,PubMed,Web of Science,KISS,Cochrane Library,and EMbase were systematically retrieved.The Rodgers'evolutionary conceptual analysis method was used for conceptual analysis.Results:A total of 31 papers were included,involving 2 Chinese papers and 28 English papers.The conceptual attributes of food literacy in diabetic patients included three aspects:emotional connection,health belief,and decision-making autonomy.The prerequisites included four aspects:sociodemographic factors,physiological factors,psychological factors,and cultural factors.The consequences included the impacts on patients,families,and the medical and health system.Conclusions:This study clarified the concept of food literacy in diabetic patients,provided direction and reference for the exploration of related research.It is helpful for developing local assessment tools,exploring new models of food literacy intervention,improving the blood sugar level of diabetes patients,and reducing complications.
Construction and methodology introduction of Story-Based Score Guide for Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information SystemAbstract:Objective:To elaborate the theoretical foundations and developmental trajectory of the Story-Based Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Score Guide(SBSG-P),and to clarify its relevant concepts and construction process.Methods:By searching and reviewing domestic and international literature on Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System and related story-based tools,the construction objectives and procedural steps of the Story-Based Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Score Guide were defined.Results:This study developed a methodological framework for the construction process of the Story-Based Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Score Guide.The framework adopted a mixed-methods design that integrates quantitative and qualitative methodologies.The framework included formulating a research protocol,combining quantitative preliminary assessment with individual semi-structured interviews for data collection,using summative content analysis to generate the initial draft of the guide,subsequently conducting focus group interviews and Delphi expert consultations to refine the content,and carrying out a small-scale pilot study to examine the validity of the mapping between narrative stories and quantitative data,on the basis of which the final version of the guide was revised and clinical validation was conducted.Conclusions:Clarifying the methodological framework for constructing the Story-Based Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Score Guide is intended to support clinicians and nurses in developing innovative Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System score interpretation tools that are both contextually grounded and precise,thereby providing decision support for treatment decisions,intervention strategies,and individualized patient management in clinical practice.
User personas for self-management among young hypertensive patientsAbstract:Objective:To analyze the typology and characteristics of self-management behaviors among young hypertensive patients and provide evidence for developing and carrying out targeted precision nursing interventions.Methods:A descriptive qualitative research design was employed.Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 18 young hypertensive patients selected through purposive sampling.Content analysis was applied to systematically analyze the interview data,extract and categorize self-management labels,and construct user personas.Results:Four distinct user personas of self-management among young hypertensive patients were identified:procrastinating type with knowledge-action gap,proactive adaptive type,medication-dependent simplified type,and externally constrained type.These personas demonstrated significant differences across multiple dimensions,including disease cognition and knowledge acquisition,self-management practice(medication adherence,dietary control,physical activity),psychological state and behavioral motivation,social network support,and environmental influences.Conclusions:Self-management patterns among young hypertensive patients exhibit considerable diversity.Healthcare professionals should comprehensively assess patients'self-management characteristics,facilitators,and barriers based on these user personas.Individualized precision nursing interventions with persona-matched support strategies and resources should be designed and implemented to enhance self-management efficacy,health behavior adherence,and blood pressure control in this population.

Sinicization of the Caregiver Assessment of Function and Upset Instrument and its reliability and validity testAbstract:Objective:To translate the Caregiver Assessment of Function and Upset Instrument into Chinese,and to validate its reliability and validity among dementia caregivers.Methods:The Brislin translation model was adopted for translating the Caregiver Assessment of Function and Upset into Chinese.A convenience sampling method was used to recruit 302 caregivers of dementia patients from the neurology outpatient clinics and within 24 hours of admission at 3 tertiary grade A hospitals in Guiyang city were selected as the research subjects.The Chinese version of Caregiver Assessment of Function and Upset Instrument was used for the investigation to test its reliability and validity.Results:The Chinese version of Caregiver Assessment of Function and Upset Instrument included 2 subscales:patient's daily living ability and caregiver's upset,both consisting of 15 items.The patient's daily living ability included two dimensions:basic daily living ability and instrumental daily living ability.The item-level content validity index(I-CVI)was 1.00.The average scale-level content validity index(S-CVI/Ave)was 1.00.Confirmatory factor analysis results showed a good model fit.The Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the life ability subscale of the Chinese version of Caregiver Assessment of Function and Upset Instrument was 0.943,and the test-retest reliability was 0.894.The Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the upset subscale of the questionnaire was 0.937,and the test-retest reliability was 0.614.Conclusions:The Chinese version of the Caregiver Assessment of Function and Upset Instrument exhibits good reliability and validity,and could be used as an effective tool for evaluating the daily living abilities of dementia patients and the upset level of caregivers.

Application of music therapy in the respiratory training of patients with spinal cord injury:a scoping reviewAbstract:Objective:To conduct a scope review of the research on the application of music therapy in respiratory training of spinal cord injury,in order to analyze the screening of intervention subjects in the application of music therapy in respiratory training for spinal cord injury,identify the form and specific content,evaluation indicators and application effects of music therapy in respiratory training for spinal cord injury,so as to provide reference for medical staff to carry out relevant interventions and research.Methods:Based on the Joanna Briggs Institute(JBI)scope review guide as the methodological framework,relevant studies in CNKI,WanFang database,VIP database,Chinese Biomedical Literature database,PubMed,Web of Science,EMbase,CINAHL were searched.The search was conducted by combining subject words,free words and Boolean logical conjunctive words.The retrieval period spanned from the establishment of the database to March 30,2025.The included literature was summarized and analyzed.Results:A total of 6 papers were included,including 5 randomized controlled trials and 1 quasi-experimental study.The inclusion criteria for patients with spinal cord injury before music therapy were formulated from five aspects:age,injury level,injury degree,activity ability and disease duration,and the exclusion criteria were formulated from three aspects:cognitive level,music learning situation and disease history.The elements of music therapy include oral motor respiratory exercise(OMREX),therapeutic singing(TS),vocal intonation therapy(VIT),and vocal respiratory training(VRT).The intervention frequency was at least 3-5 times per week,the intervention intensity was 30-60 minutes per time,and the intervention duration was mostly 12 weeks.The application of music therapy in respiratory training for spinal cord injury has shown good effects,which can improve the respiratory function,respiratory neural plasticity,auxiliary respiratory muscle activity,sound quality,and health-related quality of life and psychological state of patients.Conclusions:Music therapy has a positive effect on the rehabilitation of respiratory function in patients with spinal cord injury.Future research should enhance interdisciplinary collaboration,integrate artificial intelligence and virtual simulation technologies,and explore personalized music therapy strategies under the background of"Internet+nursing services",providing a more comprehensive solution for the overall rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injuries.
Status quo and implications of genetic specialist nurse training at home and abroadAbstract:This article synthesized the status quo of genetic specialist nurse training abroad,and in combination with advancements in the field of genetic nursing in China,provided targeted insights.The aim was to clarify the role positioning of genetic specialist nurses,strengthen the cultivation of their specialist nursing competencies,establish standardized training processes and certification criteria,and plan for their continued education.These efforts were intended to promote the development of the genetic specialist nursing workforce in China.
Construction and feasibility study on non-pharmaceutical intervention program for cognitive dysfunction in patients with systemic lupus erythematosusAbstract:Objective:To construct a non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive impairment(CD)in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)and to evaluate its feasibility.Methods:Based on a complex intervention design and evaluation framework,the non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive impairment in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus was constructed through evidence-based research and stakeholder interviews.Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus who sought treatment in the rheumatology and immunology department of a tertiary hospital in Nanjing city from February to March 2025 were recruited.The constructed program was used to implement the intervention for the patients and evaluate its feasibility.Results:The non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive impairment in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus included 5 primary indicators of organizational management,assessment,exercise guidance,vitamin D supplementation,and health education,13 secondary indicators,and 27 tertiary indicators.The on-site recruitment rate was 90.48%.The retention rate was 84.21%.The participation compliance rate was 84.21%.After 3 months of intervention,except for the fact that there was no significant difference in pain between 1 month and 3 months of intervention(P>0.05),there were statistically significant differences in fatigue,pain,vitamin D levels,quality of life,and cognitive function at three time points(P<0.05).Conclusions:The non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive dysfunction in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus constructed in this study has good effectiveness and feasibility,and could provide reference for clinical intervention of cognitive dysfunction in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.
Construction of a risk prediction model for gastric cancer based on random forestAbstract:Objective:To construct a risk prediction model for gastric cancer in Sichuan province and to identify its predictive factors.Methods:A total of 378 patients diagnosed with gastric cancer in four medical institutions in Sichuan province from July 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the case group.A total of 378 healthy individuals undergoing physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.The random forest method was used to construct a risk prediction model for gastric cancer.The performance of the model was evaluated by using accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,area under the ROC curve(AUC),calibration curve,and decision curve analysis(DCA).Results:Educational level,occupation,white meat intake,processed meat intake,coarse grain intake,pickled and sun dried food intake,dietary taste,dietary coldness and heat,eating speed,breakfast status,smoking status,alcohol consumption,tea drinking status,history of superficial gastritis,atrophic gastritis,gastric ulcer,hypertension,hyperlipidemia,family history of cancer,and personality were independent influencing factors for gastric cancer.The top three influencing factors in terms of importance score were occupation,education level,and smoking status.The accuracy of the prediction model was 99.8%.The sensitivity was 100.0%.The specificity was 99.6%.The AUC was 0.999(95%CI 0.998-1.000).The calibration curve of the prediction model indicated good consistency between the model and the actual observation results.The DCA curve suggested that the model has good clinical efficacy in predicting gastric cancer.Conclusions:The risk prediction model for gastric cancer of Sichuan province constructed based on the random forest method in this study has good predictive performance and is helpful for early identification of high-risk population for gastric cancer.
Conceptual analysis of death anxiety in cancer patientsAbstract:Objective:To analyze and clarify the conceptual connotation of death anxiety in cancer patients,and to provide reference for medical staff to identify and intervene the death anxiety in cancer patients.Methods:A systematic search was conducted on databases including CNKI,WanFang database,VIP,SinoMed,PubMed,Web of Science,Scopus,EMbase,psycINFO,and CINAHL.Literatures were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria,and the concept of death anxiety was analyzed by using Walker and Avant conceptual analysis.Results:A total of 35 articles were included to summarize the concept of death anxiety.Its conceptual attributes were determined to include self-esteem,psychological depression,disease complexity,and social coping styles.Pre-factors included demographic factors,disease factors,psychological factors,and social support.The consequences included the impact on the patient's psychological,physiological,and social aspects.Conclusions:The connotation of death anxiety is complex and influenced by multiple factors,which could seriously affect the quality of life of cancer patients.Clinical medical staff should improve the recognition rate of death anxiety in cancer patients,make proactive nursing interventions,and reduce the adverse effects of death anxiety on patients.
Latent profiles analysis of nurses'social well-being based on social ecosystems theory and its influencing factorsAbstract:Objective:Based on social ecosystems theory,to investigate the current status of nurses'social well-being in tertiary hospitals,and to analyze its potential categories and influencing factors.Methods:A total of 658 nurses from four tertiary hospitals in Xi'an city were selected by convenience sampling method.They were investigated by using a general information questionnaire,the Social well-being scale,the Perceptive social support scale and the Gratitude scale.Social well-being categories of them were identified through latent profile analysis.The influencing factors of each category were identified by utilizing univariate analysis and logistic regression analysis.Results:The Social well-being level of nurses was divided into three categories:low well-being-imbalanced(30.1%),medium well-being-chaotic(48.5%),and high well-being-positive(21.4%).Logistic regression analysis showed that working years,gratitude level,and perceiving social support are microsystem level influences of nurses'social well-being,and marital status,and affiliation to the department are microsystem level influences of nurses'social well-being.The P-values for all of these influences were less than 0.05.Conclusions:The social well-being level of nurses exhibited heterogeneity.Nursing managers should build differentiated intervention programs oriented to different categories of groups based on the Social Ecosystems Theory.They should enhance the level of nurses'well-being through targeting,to form a positive incentive cycle,to drive the optimization of the quality of nursing services in hospitals,so as to improve the patients'experience of medical treatment,and to enhance healthcare service satisfaction.
