Abstract:Objective:To analyze the typology and characteristics of self-management behaviors among young hypertensive patients and provide evidence for developing and carrying out targeted precision nursing interventions. Methods:A descriptive qualitative research design was employed.Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 18 young hypertensive patients selected through purposive sampling.Content analysis was applied to systematically analyze the interview data, extract and categorize self-management labels, and construct user personas. Results:Four distinct user personas of self-management among young hypertensive patients were identified:procrastinating type with knowledge-action gap, proactive adaptive type,medication-dependent simplified type, and externally constrained type. These personas demonstrated significant differences across multiple dimensions, including disease cognition and knowledge acquisition,self-management practice(medication adherence, dietary control, physical activity),psychological state and behavioral motivation, social network support, and environmental influences.Conclusions:Self-management patterns among young hypertensive patients exhibit considerable diversity.Healthcare professionals should comprehensively assess patients'self-management characteristics, facilitators, and barriers based on these user personas.Individualized precision nursing interventions with persona-matched support strategies and resources should be designed and implemented to enhance self-management efficacy, health behavior adherence, and blood pressure control in this population.
