Effects of Nano-copper on the Preservation of Cut Peony
[Journal Article]LI Jian, HAN Chenjing, LIU Zhifang et al.-Journal of Shandong Forestry Science and Technology2025, No.06

Abstract:To investigate the preservation effects of the inorganic bactericide Nano-copper(NC)treatment on cut peony flowers, this study evaluated the postharvest responses of the cut peony cultivar'Da Fu Gui'to four NC concentrations(2,4,8,and 10 mg·L-1).The results showed that, compared to the control group,NC treatments effectively increased flower diameter, enhanced relative water content, and maintained water balance. The relative conductivity and malondialdehyde(MDA)content in NC-treatment flowers increased initially and then decreased, ultimately remaining lower than in the control. This indicates that NC treatments help to inhibit the increase in cell membrane permeability, protect the integrity of the cell membrane, and delay the senescence process of cut peony flowers.During the vase period, the activities of catalase(CAT)and peroxidase(POD)under the 10 mg/L-1 NC treatment were consistently higher than those in control, effectively enhancing the antioxidant capacity and mitigating oxidative stress. These results demonstrate that 10 mg/L-1 NC treatment most effectively delays senescence and maintains the postharvest quality of cut peony, providing a theoretical basis for cut flowers preservation.

Identification and Optimization of Ecological Network in Ludian County based on MSPA and MCR Models
[Journal Article]WANG Jing, YANG Jianxin, NIAN Feiran-Journal of Shandong Forestry Science and Technology2025, No.03

Abstract:An integrated coupling approach was employed to construct and optimize the ecological network in Ludian County. The morphological spatial pattern analysis(MSPA)and landscape index method were used to extract the ecological source.Based on the minimum cumulative resistance model(MCR)and gravity model, the ecological network of Ludian County was studied to optimize the ecological network of Ludian County by increasing the ecological source, stepping stone and repairing the ecological fault point. The results show that there is no necessary positive correlation between the area of ecological source and the importance of ecological patches. The landscape index method is used to extract 10 core patches with the largest important value of patches according to MSPA as ecological sources, which can reduce the error of directly. Then, the corridor between ecological sources is constructed based on MCR model. The constructed ecological network was optimized by using 22 stepping stones,6 ecological fault points and 5 ecological sources. The optimized ecological network system has 15 ecological sources and 104 ecological corridors, and the network structure and indicators of the corridors have been greatly improved. The research results can provide a basis for the determination and improvement of the ecological network of Ludian County, and make it reasonably adapt to the future urban development and natural environment protection.

Ecological Efficiency Evaluation of Land Resources from An Input-Output Perspective
[Journal Article]HUANG Ruichang, ZHOU Jiahao, LI Yijin et al.-Journal of Shandong Forestry Science and Technology2025, No.03

Abstract:Studying the ecological efficiency of land use in Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone can identify influencing factors and enhance wetland conservation effectiveness, providing insights for global wetland management.Based on the super-efficiency SBM model and the panel data of 24 regions in 2016-2020,this paper measures the ecological efficiency of land resources in each county(city, district);Based on stochastic frontier regression analysis(SFA),it analyzes the main factors affecting the ecological efficiency of urban land and its direction of action, and eliminates environmental factors and random interference items to obtain a more real ecological efficiency value. The empirical results show that the average initial ecological efficiency in the first phase of Dongting Lake from 2016 to 2020 is 1.0258,while the average adjusted ecological efficiency in the third phase is 0.9564.There is a significant difference between the results of the third phase and the first phase, indicating that environmental factors and random disturbances have a significant impact on the ecological efficiency of land.

The Application and Optimization of the Ecological Quality Assessment Model in Forest Resource Protected Areas
[Journal Article]SUN Jinyong, ZHANG Mian, HOU Bingfei et al.-Journal of Shandong Forestry Science and Technology2025, No.03

Abstract:Reasonably evaluating the natural ecological quality of forest resource reserves plays an important role in alleviating forest environmental degradation and maintaining the balance of nature. This study proposes a natural ecological quality assessment model for forest resource reserves based on remote sensing images.Based on the overview of the research area,a natural ecological quality evaluation index system for forest resource protection areas is established from the perspectives of terrain, soil conditions, forest conditions, and socio-economic conditions. The Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to construct a natural ecological quality evaluation model for forestry resource protection areas, thereby achieving natural ecological quality evaluation. The simulation results of the evaluation model show that ancient woodland is better than mixed forest in terms of health status and structure and function values, while plantation is the worst; There is a significant difference in the proportion of natural ecological quality grades(superior, medium, and inferior)in the selected forest resource protection areas, with a higher proportion being inferior. The comprehensive evaluation index is 0.5662,indicating that the natural ecological quality of the forest resource protection area is generally good, and there is still room for improvement, which is in line with the preset evaluation results. This indicates that the evaluation model designed in this article has achieved application results.

[Journal Article]YANG Yongjun, HE Yinmei, HE Xiangdong et al.-Journal of Shandong Forestry Science and Technology2025, No.03

Abstract:On May 21,2024,the staff of Yunnan Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve kangpu Management photographed a Cettia brunnifrons with partial albino on the top of its head on the way of Shimen Pass field work.Through literature review, video and picture comparison analysis and ornithologist identification the bird was identified as Cettia brunnifrons with partial albinism on the top of its head. This record is a new record for whiteness of the Cettia brunnifrons within Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan.

Effects of Seed Size and Hardness Degree on Imbibition and Germination of Sophora japonica Seeds
[Journal Article]LIANG Yun, DU Jintao, QIN Xiaochen et al.-Journal of Shandong Forestry Science and Technology2025, No.03

Abstract:To improve the germination capacity of Sophora japonica seeds, this study explored the effects of seed size and hardness on imbibition and germination. The hardness degree of S.japonica seeds was classified by soaking the seeds in hot water with different initial temperatures(75℃,80℃,85℃,90℃)for 24 hours. The results showed that the imbibition rate of large seeds was higher than that of small seeds, and the imbibition rate decreased with the increase of hardness.Seed size had no significant effect on the germination rate, germination index and average germination time, but the biomass and above-ground biomass of the seedlings formed by large seeds were higher than those of small seeds. With the increase of hardness, the germination rate, germination index and vigor index gradually decreased, and the average germination time gradually increased, while the initial soaking temperature of 75℃ had a high seedling biomass. In terms of the germination rate, the germination rate of large seeds decreased with the increase of hardness, while that of small seeds exhibited a unimodal response. Therefore, seed size and hardness are important factors affecting the germination of S.japonica seeds, and selecting large seeds with low hardness can significantly improve the germination ability.
