Solving quantum tunneling effect through extended boundary conditions
CHEN Haiyang
Abstract:Quantum tunneling effect is an important concept in quantum mechanics.Unlike traditional methods that use wave functions and their first-order derivatives to continuously solve the quantum tunneling effect at the boundary, this article proposes the use of wave functions and their integrals as a new boundary condition, and studies the quantum tunneling effect of charge carriers following the Schrödinger equation and Dirac equation. The expressions for the reflection and transmission coefficients obtained are consistent with those obtained by traditional methods. The method of extending boundary conditions provides us with new ideas for solving quantum tunneling effects, which helps deepen our understanding of quantum physics.
