Abstract:Hypochlorite(ClO-)is an important reactive oxygen species involved in various physiological and pathological processes.High concentration of ClO-can cause serious health problems. An efficient detection method is needed. Therefore,an organic small molecule fluorescence probe(SJD)was synthesized using naphthalene derivative as fluorophore and dimethylthiocarbamate(DMTC)as the recognition site of ClO-in this paper and applied to the detection of ClO-in environmental samples. The experimental structure shows that the probe SJD shows obvious turn on fluorescence signal during the detection of ClO-,and has fast response ability(time 1 s),high sensitivity(detection limit 5.29×10-6 mol/L)and good pH stability. In addition, the probe has excellent selectivity and anti-interference ability.More importantly, through the data analysis of images obtained with the assistance of smart phones, the paper based probe was realized to portable detect the content of ClO-in environmental water samples(Youyang Lake,Ling River and BoHai universitys tap water).
