Abstract:Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5 composite photocatalyst were prepared by chemical impregnation, and used to activate H2O2 to remove methyl orange(MO).The Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5 was characterized by scanning electron miscroscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),X-ray diffractions(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR)and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET).The effects of initial pH of solution,H2O2 concentration and Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5 dosage on the removal of MO were investigated in UV/Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5/H2O2 system. The results indicated that when the initial concentration of MO was 10 mg·L-1,the initial pH was 3,the H2O2 concentration was 3 mmol·L-1,and the Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5 dosage was 4 g·L-1,the removal rate of MO was 99.86%after 50 min of reaction time in UV/Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5/H2O2 system. After 6 times of the recycling use of Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5,the MO removal rate was remained at 97.03%and the concentration of the total dissolved Fe was at 1.02 mg·L-1.All these results suggested that the Sch/Fe3O4/ZSM-5 has excellent stability and reusability.
