Preparation and properties of graphene oxide/carbon nanotubes/polypropylene composites

Abstract：Graphene oxide(GO)and carbon nanotubes(CNTs)have excellent properties as polymer reinforced materials,and their dispersion has been a concern.In this work,GO)was prepared by an improved Hummers method,and graphene oxide/carbon nanotubes/polypropylene(GO/CNTs/PP)composites was synthesized through parallel twin-screw extruder blends and extrudes.The effects of GO and CNTs contents on the properties of the composites were investigated.The results showed that the mechanical properties of the composites were improved significantly when the mass ratio of GO and CNTs was 7:3.
