Abstract:A two-dimensional coordination compound was synthesized by using Keggin-type polyoxometa-lates anion as the inorganic building block and triazole as the organic building unit under hydrothermal condi-tions. The compound has the formula C8 H12 Ag4 Mo12 N12 O44 V. The compound was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy. Analysis shows that the compound belongs to the monoclinic system, P 21 / n space group. The unit cell parameters of the compound are a=10. 665(5) ?, b=20. 761(9) ?,c=11. 518(5) ?,α=90°, β=95. 259°, γ= 90°,V=2539. 4(19) ?3,Z=4,ωR1 =0. 0301, ωR2 =0. 3036. In this compound, a Keggin-type anion[ VMo12 O40 ]3-and a ligand are connected by a silver ion to form a 1D chain structure of the compound. The one-dimensional chains are coordinated with metallic silver to form a lattice-like 2D layered structure.
