A copper complex constructed based on the ligand in situ with 2 +1 coordination mode : synthesis , structure and catalytic property

Abstract：A cyano ligand, 3,5－di－[1,2,4] triazol－1－yl－benzonitrile ( DTCN), was chosen to react with Cu(II) ion under hydrothermal condition , giving a new metal －organic complex, [ Cu ( DTBA)2 ] (1 ), which was further characterized by single crystal X －ray diffraction and IR spectra.Compound 1 has a 2D net－work structure, where the ligand DTCN was transformed in situ into the 3,5－di－[1,2,4] triazol－1－yl－ben－zoic acid(HDTBA) ligand.The catalytic property of compound 1 has also been studied.
