Statistical analysis of papers published in Journal of Bohai University ( Natural Science Edition ) from 2004 to 2016

Abstract：Based on the database of CNKI , the 1202 papers published in the Journal of Bohai University ( Natural Science Edition ) from 2004 to 2016 are analyzed .The time and geographic distribution of the papers , highly cited papers , the authors′cooperation proportion , fund supported are discussed .The results show that:①During the 13-year in the period of 2004-2016, the quantity of papers in journals decreased gradually , and the total quantity of papers decreased from 33.3 to 18.3.②The papers from Bohai University are the high quan-tity and high cited papers .③The total of 81 papers were cited more than 10,28 papers cited more than 20, the average citation rate is 2.86.The highly cited papers are mainly focused on the literature reviews .④The fund supported papers are much more , The author′s co-authoring rate and cooperation degree are relatively high . The quality and influence of the publication are steadily improving , and the Journal has been become an impor-tant windows for the presentation and communication of academic achievements .The study can provide the direc-tion for the selection plan and solicit contributions of the journal .
