Conductance and Seebeck effect in particular multiple quantum dots molecular

Abstract：Properties of the conductance and thermoelectric effect in a quantum dot connected to the left and right normal metal leads and coupled to three quantum dots molecular is studied .It is found that when the energy levels of the three side coupled quantum dots are the same , the conductance through the single quantum dot is al-most unchanged by the coupling between the dots , whereas the figure of merit is enhanced by increasing dot -dot coupling strength .When the energy levels are different from each other in the quantum dot molecular , the peak in the conductance is split and the figure of merit is obviously enhanced due to the quantum interference effect . The value of the figure of merit can reach as high as 20, which is much larger than that in the bulk one .
