Abstract:Three types of vanadia -titania catalysts, JT-V, RT-V and NRT-V, were prepared by incip-ient impregnation with ammonium metavanadate solution for three different TiO 2 supports .The catalytic properties of these catalysts for selective oxidation of methanol to dimethoxymethane ( DMM) were researched .The physico-chemical properties of these catalysts were characterized by XRD , UV-vis, H2 -TPR, NH3 -TPD and XPS. The results showed that the surface acidity , dispersity of vanadium species and reducibility of vanadia were af-fected by the TiO2 supports. For the catalyst of NRT-V obtained by loading vanadium species on home -made anatase TiO2 , the methanol conversion and DMM selectivity reached 67.0%and 73.0%at reaction temperature of 190 ℃.
