Moving object detection and tracking

Abstract：Moving object detection and target tracking are the effective methods to determine moving target of the video sequence and to monitor moving trajectory of moving object .Such technologies have a significant appli-cation in electronic map processing , X ray imaging system , remote sensing tracking , military equipment and ra-dar signal processing .In this paper , the design of system are based on two image sequences with little back-ground change , and cumulative average method was used to building the background model , and the difference method of reconstruction was used to detect the change of image content .Due to the continuity in time and con-tent of the sequence of motion graphics , the historical record image of motion foreground can be established . Then , through the processing of the historical record chart , input the Calman filter tracker to realize the detection and tracking of the moving target .The experimental results show that ,this method can accurately locate the di-rection of the object movement , determine the motion law of the moving object , and realize real-time detection and tracking of the moving object ,and this system has high robustness and good effect .
