A study on the evaluation system of LNG seafarers′competency ability based on the intuitionistic fuzzy entropy

Abstract：In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of the transportation of LNG carrier , and for the lack of evaluation method on LNG seafarers′professional competency , a systematic study is carried out on the evalua-tion method of LNG seafarers′competency and the calculating method of its weight .In accordance with the con-vention requirements and actual operating process , and from the perspective of safety and pollution prevention , an evaluation index system of LNG seafarers′professional competency with 12 indicators is established based on the operational requirements of ships on different navigation stages .Intuitionistic fuzzy entropy method is adopted to calculate the index weight .The intuitionistic fuzzy data which is obtained through the experts′comments can be regarded as the index weight information given by experts .In the calculation , objective and subjective weight together make up the combination weight .And then the combination weight is used to analyse the membership degree , non-membership degree and hesitancy degree of the experts evaluation results comprehensively , there-by to analyse the influence on combination entropy weight .The results show that using intuitionistic fuzzy entropy method to calculate the index weight of evaluation system can effectively avoid the influence of subjective factors on evaluation results , and the index system is both objective and comprehensive and the weight calculation sys -tem is also reasonable .
