Quality analysis and evaluation of water environment of the Yellow River in Shandong section

Abstract:In order to provide scientific supports for rivers ecological management of the Yellow River , 15 water quality parameters of 7 monitoring sites along the Yellow River in Shandong Province were measured on A-pril, May, July, August and October of 2013 and February of 2014, respectively.The monitoring data was used to analyze the water quality and its variation trends of the Yellow River in Shandong Province , including different periods of time and different monitoring sites .The results showed that the water quality of the Yellow River in Shandong Province was at the stage of mesotropher using TLI method , and all the trophic status index were very small in different monitoring sites with them varying as October >February >April >May >July .The water quality of the Yellow River in Shandong Province was at the stage of mesotropher using TLI method , and all the trophic status index were very small in different monitoring sites with them varying as October >February >A-pril >May >July.The water quality was at the stage of severe pollution using Nemero index method , and the predominant pollutant factors were TN, the petroleum, SS and CODMn.All the contents of organic matter and heavy metals belonged to the Ⅲclass of the fishery water quality standards with the petroleum concentration being found over 40%of the Ⅲstandard .
