Abstract:Based on Fe 3+is one of the important trace metals in the human body , it plays a key role in vari-ous cells in the body , therefore , for the detection of Fe 3+is particularly important .A benzothiazole Schiff base fluorescent probe (L) was synthesized in this article with salicylaldehyde , 2 -aminophenol, 4 -amino -2 -hydroxybenzoic acid and its structurally characterized .The fluorescence responses of probe L to different metal i-ons were examined in DMSO -H2 O(9:1, v/v, Tris 0.01 mol/L, pH=7.4) solution. The results show that probe L exhibits good recognition property toward Fe 3+ over other metal ions , and is a fluorescent enhanced probe, for further practical application has laid a good foundation .Co-existence of other metal ions exerts no significant interference on Fe3 +recognition.Probe L binds Fe3+with faster and the binding ratio is 1:2, and the binding constant is calculated to be 6.44 ×108 M-2 .
