Review in catalytic oxidation desulfurization by polyoxometalates

Abstract：Polyoxometalates are widely used in catalytic oxidative desulfurization because of its unique acid-ity, versatility and"pseudo liquid phase".Nowadays, more and more polyoxometalates are used in catalytic oxi-dative desulfurization .In this paper , the research progress of the polyoxometalates with Keggin , Dawson and An-derson structure are described in detail .The reactivity of a supported polyoxometalates catalyst and its catalytic reaction performance on oxidation desulfurization are summarized .It is pointed out that the problem should be solved in the process of oxidation desulfurization is the selection of catalysts with high activity , high selectivity and high reproducibility .
