Preparation of TiO2 nano-whiskers and the study of the oil-solubility

Abstract：In this paper, one-dimensional nano-titanate whisker was prepared with the rutile titanium dioxide as raw material,and by the step of alkali-soluble, hydrothermal reaction, acidification.The end to end nanowire network was formed by the calcination of the media product.Both the as-prepared product and the media-product were characterized by SEM, XRD etc.CTAB modified TiO2 was also analyzed by infrared spectroscopy, thermal analysis, UV and oil-soluble experiments.The results showed the enhanced oil-solubility of the CTAB modified TiO2, and the CTAB is adsorbed on the surface of TiO2 by chemically bond, so the thermal stability is very good.
