Synthesis and structure of copper methanesulfonate

Abstract：Copper methanesulfonate was synthesized from copper oxide and methanesulfonic acid in aque -ous.The product is a crystal .The single crystal of copper methanesulfonate was cultivated by experiments .The structure of copper methanesulfonate was characterized by IR , 1 H/13 C NMR and X-ray single crystal diffrac-tion tests.The results show that copper methanesulfonatecrystallizes in the monoclinic system , space group P21/c, a=8.2160 (11) nm, b=9.6311 (13) nm, c=7.3170 (10) nm,α=γ=90°,β=106.628 (2)°, V=554.78 (13) nm3 , Z=6.
