Research and prospect of phase change materials applied for building energy conservation

Abstract：Phase change materials can adjust the indoor temperature and save energy by storing and releasing energy in a nearly constant temperature , so they are proposed to be widely used in the field of building energy conservation .In this paper , classification and characteristics of the phase change materials were discussed . Preparation methods and their respective advantages and disadvantages of the composite phase change materials were illustrated .It was introduced the application method and development potential of the composite phase change materials in the field of building energy conservation was as well .
