Evaluation of academic influence of normal universities science journals

Abstract：In order to analyze and rank the academic influence of forty -two normal university science jour-nals applying factor analysis base on fourteen evaluation indices of Chinese journal citation report 14 , and the rank of factor analysis is compared with the value and rank by evaluation method of the comprehensive evaluation of Chinese sci -tech periodicals .The results show that the two conclusions are close , proving that factor analysis in journals quantization evaluation is effective .
