Abstract：In this paper , a new class of links is given , which is called almost adequate link , in the first part, the conclusion is drawn:if a link K is almost A-adequate, then, the mirror image of K is almost B -ade-quate;the second part , by using the state links , the main result is provided:the highest degree in the Kauffman polynomial of almost A -adequate links and the lowest degree in the Kauffman polynomial of almost B -adequate links .
