Remote meter reading of pulse output flowmeter controlled by PLC

Abstract：As a modern management method, the utilization of remote meter reading system will increase work efficiency and save manpower.Remote meter reading has become an essential method of energy measure-ment in many industries.Different kinds of instruments that are used currently for energy measurement are intro-duced in the paper.The remote meter reading process on flowmeters without 485 communication interface, which were installed in early period, are specially presented.The process is controlled by PLC ( programmable logic controller) and can be used to collect data from various kinds of instruments.
