Characterization and recycling research of chitosan/polyurethane composite

Abstract：Chitosan/polyurethane composite (CS/PU) based on chitosan was prepared, which was used to ad-sorb malachite green ( MG) in water on aquaculture and industry as adsorbent .It was studied by characterization and recycling.The results showed that the apparent density was 68.1 kg m-3 , compressive strength was 0.879kpa, porosity was 94.44%, specific surface was 0.5 m2 g-1 .It was stable under high temperature according TGA re-sult.CS/PU after adsorption MG can be desorpted by ethanol solution with 60%concentration and pH 9.It can be recycled by above 5 times.
