Modeling and emulation of powertrain system of MPV equipped with mechanic -electric continuously variable transmission

Abstract：Continuous variable transmission has no transmission gear of the conventional automatic transmis-sion, so it also has no the shifting process of a conventional automatic transmission, and then, the feeling of jogg-ling disappear, the power output is linear, so the ride comfort is better in actual driving.However, the control of EM-CVT is more simple and faster.so the balance of vehicle performance, fuel consumption, exhaust emis-sions are more likely to achieve.This article based on the function characteristics of AVL Cruise, the modeling and emulation of powertrain system with EM-CVT is conducted.Vehicle powertrain system which establish by the software has the characteristics of easy to debug, intuitive etc, not only save lot of time, but it is convenient to analyze and study the simulation results and correct parameters, and then complete the system design inside shorter time.
