Abstract：The hybrid capacitor is new energy storage device between super capacitors and batteries , which is ideal for the power source of the modern electronics industry , transportation industry and so on .The hybrid ca-pacitor can be divided into three types of combination of the electric double layer capacitor electrode and the fara -day capacitor electrodes , and a combination of the secondary battery electrode and the electric double layer ca-pacitor electrode , and the cathode of the electrolytic capacitor and the combination of supercapacitor electrode . The hybrid capacitor compared to conventional supercapacitor , energy density and operating voltage has been greatly improved .In the paper ,the research situation and development tend of several kinds of hybrid systems are introduced .
