Abstract：Software maintenance is an important stage of software lifecycle , modify defects , improve per-formance and extend the lifecycle through by maintenance .For the current situation that the maintenance costs is difficult to control , use gray relational analysis to research the influence degree of maintain cost factors .First, build a structure model of influence factors index system hierarchical analysis , and describ; Second , build a mathematical model according the steps of dimensionless method processing , calculating the correlation coeffi-cient, calculating the correlation degree, correlation degree sort and results analysis;Finally, give a example a-nalysis with a software company software maintenance cost data .The content of this study has the important theo-retical and practical significance for improving maintenance procedures , guiding maintenance activities , impro-ving software quality and reducing software costs .
