Synthesis,Characterization and the structure of the Dawson Compoud (C6 H4 N4) 2 · P2 W18 O62 · 11 (H2 O)

Abstract：A Dawson structure compound [ ( C6 H4 N4 ) 2 · P2 W18 O62 · 11( H2 O) ] was synthesized by the the reaction of 2,2′-biimidazole and polyacids K 6 P2 W18 O62 · 11 ( H2 O) · nH2 O.The structure of the compound was characterized by the element analysis , single crystal X-ray diffractometer and IR spectrum .The single crys-tal x-ray structure analysis of the title compound revealed that it belongs to C2/C space group , a=2.26349 (13), b=1.43798(8), c=2.19657(12),β=97.4400 (10), Z =4, V=7.0893(7) nm3 , R1 =0.0545,ωR2 =0.1540.
