Synthesis and crystal structure of a DNS-based nickel sulfonate containing a metal-water chain
Abstract:A new DNS-based nickel sulfonate,[Ni(H2O)6](DNS)·2H2O(1)(DNS = 4,4'-dinitrostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid) has been synthesized and characterized by IR spectra,elemental analyses and single crystal X-ray diffraction.Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system,space group P1,a = 6.802(5),b = 8.541(5),c = 11.830(5),α = 87.595(5)°,β = 75.724(5) °,γ = 85.771(5) °.Compound 1 exhibits a 3D supramolecular structure,which is constructed from metal-water chains and DNS anions via plenty of hydrogen bonding interactions.
