Preparation and anti- cracking of silicon gelatin block by a sol- gel method
Abstract：Silicon gelatin blocks were prepared by a sol -gel method using silicon tetraehloride as the silica source. Meanwhile, the influence of the dosage of anhydrous alcohol and anti - cracking agent, the volume of deionized water, the thickness of liquid layer and air contact area on the silicon gelatin block were researched. The results show that the silicon gelatin blocks are crack -free and transparent, which are prepared in the volume ratio of silicon tetrachloride, anhydrous alcohol, anti - cracking agent, deionized water is 2:4 : 1:2.
