Research on corrosion inhibition of self-assembled monolayer of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole derivatives on steel surface
Abstract：Molecular monolayer for 2-mercaptobenzothiazole derivatives on the steel surface is prepared by using self-assembly technique,and its morphology is observed with an inverted metallographic microscope.Its corrosion inhibition to steel in 1mol/L HCl is researched by using electrochemical testing technology.The results show that the corrosion inhibitor＇s self-assembled monolayer of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole derivatives possesses a very good corrosion inhibition to steel.
