Adaptive control for delay nonlinear systems with actuator dead-zones
Abstract:The control problem of a class of delay nonlinear systems with actuator dead-zones is studied, and an adaptive control method is proposed in the case of the dynamics of the controlled system. The method employs backstepping design to obtain a controller step by step.In order to attenuate the influence caused by the actuator dead-zone,it is redescribed as the sum of three terms:a ratio term,a smooth nonlinear term and a disturbance-like term. And then an adaptive fuzzy approximator is employed to approximate the unknown system dynamics and the smooth nonlinear term together.Besides, additional control is designed based on robust control technique to deal with the disturbance-like term.By choosing integral Lyapunov function,it can be proved that the designed controller guarantees that the closed-loop system is stable and its output can track the reference on the given precision.
