Qualitative study on the experiences and needs of patients with primary liver cancer:a Meta-integration

Abstract:Objective:To systematically integrate the qualitative research on the illness experiences and needs of patients with primary liver cancer,and to provide a reference for formulating nursing strategies based on patients'needs.Methods:Qualitative studies on the illness experiences and needs of patients with primary liver cancer were retrieved from PubMed,Web of Science,EMbase,CINAHL,Cochrane Library,MedLine,Scopus,CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,and CBM.The retrieval period was from the establishment of the databases to December 25,2024.The quality of the literature was evaluated according to the quality assessment criteria for qualitative research of the Australian Joanna Briggs Institute Evidence-Based Health Care Center,and the synthesis method was used for integration.Results:A total of 22 articles were included,classified into 8 categories,and combined into 3 integrated results,including complex predicaments caused by the disease,adapting to the disease condition and reshaping life,and unmet needs in multiple dimensions.Conclusion:Patients with primary liver cancer face complex predicaments caused by the disease.Medical staff should assist patients in adapting to the disease condition,encourage patients to actively cope with the disease,meet the patients'multi-dimensional and diverse needs,and construct an individualized management plan oriented towards the patients'needs.

Influencing factors of kineshobia in patients after total knee arthroplasty:a mixed systematic review

Abstract:Objective:To systematically analyze the influencing factors of kinesiophobia in patients after total knee arthroplasty.Methods:Quantitative and qualitative studies related to the influencing factors of kinesiophobia after total knee arthroplasty were retrieved from CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,CBM,PubMed,Web of Science,Scopus,CINAHL,and EMbase.A mixed-method evaluation tool was used to assess the quality of the literature,and data were collected,analyzed,and integrated using the convergent integrated method.Results:A total of 12 articles were included,and 3 types of influencing factors were summarized,including physiological and disease conditions,psychological factors,and external support.Conclusion:Post-total knee replacement patients'agoraphobia is affected by multiple factors such as disease-related symptoms,individual psychological responses,and the external support environment.It is recommended that clinical practice should conduct a systematic assessment of these influencing factors and implement comprehensive intervention strategies.
