Design and implementation of work-in-process management system based on RFID technology

Abstract：Aiming at the “rich data but poor information”problem under internet of manufacturing things environment in the workshop layer,a RFID-enabled work-in-process management system was presented. The SOs event model of the system was constructed by the division of workshop level and the RFID binding rules.Using XML language to semantically encapsulate the SOs event for acquisition and integration the real-time information of workshop layer.The example proved that the system had advantages of simple oper-ation,friendly visual interface,strong practicability and stability.It could be used to improve product quali-ty and control inventory.
