Properties of Cu-matrix powder metallurgy braking material for high-speed train
Abstract：A new dry friction material of Cu-matrix powder metallurgy(Cu-PM) for high-speed train is investigated. The paper illustrates its crafts and formula, compares its characteristics of friction and wear with other materials, makes the friction coefficient curve and wear curve with velocity, explores its friction and wear characteristics, draws the wear curve varying with temperature change, discusses the wear failure mode, supplies theoretical and experimental data for engineering.
