Abstract:Selenium is one of the essential trace elements for human beings, and the development of safe and efficient biotransformation carriers for it has important research value. In this study, based on the biosafety advantages of selenium-enriched yeast,a strain 1769(Cyberlindnera jadinii)with strong selenium-enrichment capacity was obtained through selenium tolerance and selenium-enrichment capacity screening experiments;One-way and orthogonal tests were used to optimize the fermentation process parameters, focusing on the effects of inoculum amount, sodium selenite addition fermentation time and other factors on the biomass and selenium conversion rate. The results showed that when the inoculum amount was 5%,the sodium selenite addition amount was 20µg/mL,the sodium selenite addition time was 8 h,and the fermentation time was 24 h,the strain 1769 had the best fermentation performance, with the selenium-enrichment amount of 5 395.34µg/g,the conversion rate of 93.25%,and the biomass of 3.46 g/L.This research not only provides high-quality strain resources for the development of selenium-enriched products but also establishes a system of fermentation process parameters which is of guiding significance for industrial production.
