Research on the evaluation method of distributed new energy hosting capacity in distribution network
LIU Chang
Abstract:With the widespread deployment of distributed new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaics in the distribution network, the increasing penetration rate poses stability challenges. The unpredictable and fluctuating output of these sources affects the reliable operation of the distribution network, limiting the utilization of new energy.Accurately evaluating the hosting capacity of the distribution network for distributed new energy is crucial.By exploring relevant evaluation methods and analyzing the impact of large-scale integration of new energy,a quantitative evaluation index system covering the target, criterion, and indicator layers is constructed.Evaluation indicators are established from three dimensions:power quality, power supply capacity, and economic efficiency. The analytic hierarchy process is used to assign weights to the indicators, and a comprehensive score for system stability is calculated.Based on the IEEE 33-bus system simulation, the effectiveness of the evaluation method has been verified, providing a reference for the large-scale integration of distributed new energy.
