An exploration of the value logic and application scenarios of generative AI in empowering audiovisual archives

Abstract：With the rapid advancement of digital technology,the application fields of artificial intelli-gence continue to expand.In this process,generative AI,leveraging its unique advantages,is emer-ging as a key driver in promoting the digital transformation of culture.As a crucial medium for cultur-al dissemination,audiovisual archives are undergoing continuous innovation in their technological evo-lution.Research indicates that generative AI technology brings significant value enhancement and in-novative breakthroughs:Firstly,it breaks traditional service models through innovative narrative ap-proaches,offering diverse and integrated interactive experiences.Secondly,it effectively mitigates the"information cocoon"effect,enabling intelligent integration of archival information,while also greatly enriching the expressive language of visual communication.Furthermore,this study explores the new application prospects of the"AIGC+Archives"model in video production,digital processing,intelli-gent platform management,and cultural service innovation.
