Abstract：Calcium carbonate are widely used in the field of multiple industries and aspects of daily life,which have great application potential.In recent years,with the support by policies and market demand,the calcium carbonate industry is rapidly evolving toward high-quality development.Calcium carbonate products have shifted from conventional ground calcium carbonate to functional calcium car-bonate and nano calcium carbonate.This paper systematically reviews the classification,origin,man-ufacturing processes,and current application status of rubber,paper making,plastics,paint,build-ing materials of calcium carbonate,while analyzing its product utilization pathways and the quality-centric optimization and upgrading of industrial development trends.The study aims to offer reference insights to support the sustainable and high-quality development of the calcium carbonate industry.
