Abstract:Under the first-class specialty initiative, the program systematically reformed the optimi-zation of automation control curricula and the development of student competencies.Centered on the"theory-application-practice"framework,the curriculum builds a collaborative teaching chain in core courses by consistently applying typical controlled objects such as single-tank storage systems. This approach integrates the same controlled object across courses including Automatic Control Principles,Computer Control Systems, and Process Control, with clear focuses on control strategies,instruction-al content, and competency development to ensure diversity, coherence, and consistency.Meanwhile, the program refined curriculum design, integrated a comprehensive control practice platform, and strengthened faculty capabilities in teaching and practical guidance.By organizing competitions such as the National Electronic Design Contest and the Intelligent Vehicle Competition, the program created a closed-loop feedback mechanism that promotes teaching, skill development, and continuous improve-ment,effectively enhancing students' competencies in system modeling, control algorithm design, and engineering applications.
