Abstract:To detect the distribution of internal current in proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEM-FC),a non-contact measurement method is employed to monitor the battery's working state in real time.Starting from the PEMFC model, static magnetic field simulation software was used to simulate the magnetic field around the fuel cell, and the internal current distribution in the battery was calcu-lated based on the detected values of the external magnetic field.During the modeling process, the calculated values and relative errors of internal current distribution in the PEMFC under two states, ideal conditions/local hypoxia, are analyzed for four different cases:no partitioned,2×2 partitions,4×4 partitions, and 5×5 partitions of the PEMFC.The results indicate that as the number of sub-u-nits increases after partitioning, the calculation error initially decreases and then increases.Further-more,under ideal conditions, the calculated results of internal current distribution in the battery are more accurate.
