Abstract:When the Mg(OH)2 and graphene oxide were heated,an explosion occurs when the tem-perature reaches 220℃,resulting in the formation of graphene-supported MgO nanoparticle compos-ites.The X-ray diffraction results indicated that after an explosion reaction, graphene oxide was re-duced to graphene. The explosion generated a certain temperature and high pressure, which can in-duce the rapid decomposition reaction of Mg(OH)2,thereby generating MgO nanoparticles. Finally,MgO nanoparticles were rapidly loaded onto graphene nanosheets. The scanning electron microscope and transmission electron mucroscope results indicated that MgO particles with an average particle size of about 50 nm are loaded onto graphene.
