Research on hardware design for water-vapor absorption and water-vapor permeability tester for shoes

Abstract：Based on the previous research on the water-vapor absorption and water-vapor permeabili-ty of finished shoes by the weight difference method,we have designed the hardware system of the water-vapor absorption and water-vapor permeability tester to meet the accurate testing requirements for finished shoe performance.This system includes key components such as a moisture device,weig-hing device,sealing device,sensors,and data acquisition unit.The moisture device is used to simu-late the sweating environment of the human feet,and the weighing device accurately measures the weight changes of the shoe during the process of the water-vapor absorption and water-vapor permea-bility.The sealing device ensures the airtightness of the testing environment,while the sensors and data acquisition unit monitor and record the test data in real-time.This study can provide strong sup-port for accurate testing of water-vapor absorption and water-vapor permeability of finished shoes.
